I'd throw Oxo on for Puncheon, Morgan off for Guly. Push Guly just behind Lambo and Barnard and get Hammond to sit deeper and play the ball to the flanks (Lallana/OXO).
maybe Bignall for Barnard later on in the game.
Totally agree with you DD, bugs the heck out of me too.
All we needed was a point against Plymouth on the first day and we'd have been top for a few hours
I think he's a good manager, but there wasn't too much wrong with us before anyway.
At the end of the day a half decent manager should be able to get this team promoted from L1.
so frustrating
We're losing to Notts County in the bottom half of L1, and our reserve teamer - Mills - (not deemed good enough for us) is winning away at reading in the league above.
I really don't get it.
Tranmere was excellent, but we didn't hit the same level against Oldham. Alot of that is probably down to Tranmere being crap!! but we still played so well that day - could have watched us all night.
We played 4-4-2 at Norwich last year i think, and we were terrific - totally outplayed the best team in the league.
This is pretty much the same team, with a better RB. I don't understand why we are so poor this year.
very very poor start by the sounds of it. It's horrendous that a squad with this quality can struggle to maintain any level of consistency at L1 level.
We just don't seem to be very good away from home at all.
Still a long way to go, but it'll be very very tough for us to get anything now. I'm just not confident with us away from home this year....
