  1. I must say, Barca are acting like a bunch of dicks to be honest - but it is funny, as it's a taste of their own medicine. Barca's general manager has come out and said that they're 'close' to both Dembele and Coutinho. Cue meltdown. Still, a pretty back handed way for a club like Barca to act. I think they're in a bit of a mess right now, just been done 6-1 by Real Madrid and they have a Neymar sized hole to fill. Could just be chat to appease the fans, who knows.
  2. 1st post. But thanks for the info..!
  3. Southampton are also firmly in favour of closing the transfer window before future Premier League seasons kick off, according to chairman Ralph Krueger. "I think that it's the system we need to look at, so we're a huge proponent of closing the transfer window before the season starts," Krueger said "We're a huge proponent of looking at why these kind of situations even evolve."
  4. Hoedt and Vietto IMO. (later being a loan with an option on deadline day)
  5. Didn't take long for the thread on RAWK to be reopened. They believe this interview has made his exit more likely. Talk about clutching at straws. Give it up guys.
  6. Morgan didn't train with the team most of the pre-season in which he lost his head, then he was straight in on the first day. If he accepts it, he'll be back for Huddersfield.
  7. And in this window of craziness, what we paid for Lemina also seems an incredible steal. We still do it the right way.....
  8. Yeah, it has. They still think he's signing for them though. What a bunch of saps.
  9. They are the figures I saw quoted when Everton were sniffing earlier in the window, would doubt if it's gone down since then...! He signed a new deal recently.

That's a shame. Can't really see any way back for him as a professional to be honest.
  11. TBF, he would be upwards of £35m apparently.
  12. September 1. Judgement day. sounds like a trailer to blockbuster
  13. Rumors still floating around regarding Luciano Vietto. I reckon we'll see him before the window closes.
  14. That is such a typical Tony Pulis signing.
  15. I just find the level of detail he comes out with a little too much to believe. He knows bits, I'm sure, but he seems to be polishing the edges to make it seem even more. Just a hunch I have, nothing more. Not on a crusade against the bloke, have just always been a tad suspicious over anyone who claims to be ITK and shares that level of detail.
  16. More fool you for taking the words of a poster as gospel. For what it's worth, I'm very skeptical about that poster in particular.
  17. Whilst I get the point, all you are really doing here is moving the 'issue' further down the league pyramid. So you'll end up with NPC, L1, L2 clubs having their players unsettled mid-season by top level clubs. Not sure there's an easy solution to it at all, closing it before the season starts is a good idea in principle, but it will be fraught with issues due to all the other leagues around the world starting at different dates. The fix here is a wage and spending cap. Players get unsettled because they see the riches at another club, but if there is a league-wide wage cap, then that appetizer is reduced.
  18. Their sources have also claimed that £210m has been pumped into the club, which isn't the case. They're just rehashing what the telegraph article has said, but wording it badly and putting their 'claim' to it.
  19. They have Thai owners. Wolves are owned by a Chinese 'investment' vehicle, and seemingly Jorge Mendes. That smells a bit fishy though.
  20. Fear of change, it's natural to be honest. When things have been so stable for a while and something comes along to change that, there will always be fear and concern. But I honestly don't see this as a bad thing. Kat was not going to sell us to some shysters without any intentions or finance. I know people seem to think they're skint, but that wouldn't make any sense. We can all agree that with the changing face of football, we needed fresh investment. This will give us that, otherwise it wouldn't have happened.
  21. Nothing but good memories of their stewardship. They have invested and Kat has continued what Markus set in stone - his ambition was for us to become a stable Top 10 premier league club, we did that in record time. Now she feels that it's time for some external input to help us keep the level and maybe even improve on it. They have been amazing custodians for our football club, not just Kat, but the entire family. I can understand peoples trepidation and fear of what may be ahead, but this is being done with the full blessing of the Liebhers, and everything they have done for us has been spot on. This deal would not be happening if it didn't benefit. They're not going to sell us up the river. On wards and upwards, but they will forever by a huge piece of our club.
  22. You are correct. This is what has been holding up the deal Apparently.
  23. I think it's stopped for PSG. Just them.
  24. Well, that came out of the blue. Nothing to do with Lander then.....? I'm still of the opinion that KL would not have done this without being 100% sure that they're good. Hopefully the start of a seriously exciting era - not that the last 6 years haven't been exciting enough....
