  1. Surely it's how you interpret adrift. If we're in the bottom 3 and 17th place is a couple of points ahead, then you are technically what I'd call adrift in 18th.
  2. I don't think he's a bad player, but let's not make out he's the messiah, yeah I agree he was chopped and changed a lot (not just by MP either)...but he never really delivered what we need. I know fans will love him because he talks the talk, but he kind of sums up the state of our midfield. Nice, sideways, tippy tappy, no punch.
  3. Doubt it. I think the worse that will happen is a fine for failing to control the crowd and maybe if the FA are feeling quite strong, a behind closed doors game. But I can't see any points being deducted, the PL/FA try to avoid that.
  4. He said something similar a few weeks back, about how it's exciting being in this battle. It's such a weird situation, we're acting like a club who have just been promoted and are still in with a shout. What on earth are the club seeing that we're not.
  5. Got a sneaky feeling Stoke will do Man City tomorrow. Then both Palace and Stoke have got Everton and Huddersfield on the FA Cup Semi weekend. We'll be in the bottom 3 by the WHU game, probably adrift by at least a couple of points - unless the gods are really smiling on us.
  6. Pieree is a great talker, says all the right things and seems to have the right attitude but his product on the pitch ever since he's joined us has been absolutley dog****e. He's had long enough to get used to this league now.
  7. We'll be adrift by the time this comes around. WHU will be desperate for a reaction. Pretty straight forward for them I'd have thought. (Unless by some miracle the club try to spark a reaction by actually doing something)
  8. This is the time to gamble, if they don't act now then they're clearly deluded and the future of our club is in very worrying hands.
  9. We still have those same players as well.
  10. How the **** have Huddersfield not scored today, this result is a real killer for them.
  11. I wonder if we'll get to single digits this season.
  12. Not sure if that's a plus side, they'll be desperate for a reaction against us.
  13. We still have a bunch of games where it is the perfect oppertunity to 'gamble' on a new face for that bounce effect. And I don't mean a Kelvin Davis and Rhadi Jaidi dream team either. If they keep it as it is, it's going one way. make a change, and you never know it may give us a bounce which is all we'd need. Someone at the club needs to grow some balls.
  14. This entire event at the London Stadium just sums up the probelms at the club. Stewarding and policing was never, ever sorted out when they moved. They have pretty much sold their soul.
  15. I think he's a pretty poor defender, gets too tight to players and is spun too easily. Too weak and small to win duals at the back post. Players like Fonte and VVD can pull him out of jail, but put him in with the CB's we have now and he's shown up massivley.
  16. Can anyone enlighten me as to why Cedric is scouted by the 'big' clubs? Surely that's just agent talk? I've never rated him. He could be decent-ish in a decent setup, but he's not very good at all.
  17. It's stomach churning that he's been paid a single penny for this season.
  18. He built up a fair amount of credit as he was part of it all during the rise, but it's safe to say that he's now used up all that credit and is himself living on borrowed time.
  19. If MP stays then there will not be anyone renewing. Just get rid of everyone. To take us from our strongest ever position to where we are today should be on the shoulders of everyone who makes decisions at the club, every single one of them need to take a long hard look at themselves and do one.
  20. The most inept manager I've seen full stop, not just at Southampton. It's gross neglegance that he's still at the club. The bloke is a fraudster.
  21. I honestly didn't think it would be possible for a club to score so many own goals in such a short space of time, but we've managed it. After this result there HAS TO BE a reaction, a change. If we sit still after this then it's quite clear that the club are content with relegation as part of their masterplan for something or another. Mismanagement of the highest order, there should be sackings all over the shop.
  22. Is that an image from Portsmouth's visit there?
  23. He's injured.
  24. Scrap JWP in that role and replace him with Gabbiadini who can play close to Carillo. I think JWP in that role just increases the backwards/sideways philosophy further up the pitch.
  25. We've had so many chances this year. Not holding out much hope!
