  1. Where the hell would they be if they had a Dodgy keeper to compliment the rest of their dodgy team? They've never really played well and once they start playing the bigger sides, it will come back to bite them. As we've seen. The next few weeks for them are huge, and us I might add.
  2. He's had such a forgettable season. Seems to be made of glass. £32m. Bank.
  3. We dodged an enormous bullet in Rojo, that's for sure. Still think he's a better LB.
  4. Yes, we're completely up **** creek right now. Hanging onto the league by our finger nails.
  5. As long as one of Arsenal, Liverpool or Utd win the FA Cup (given that they'll obviously finish within the top 6) then 7th will get the space. It looks likely, but stranger things have happened.
  6. De Gea Clyne Fonte Terry Bertrand Morgan Cesc Eriksen Hazard Kane Willian Subs - Lloris, 'Dave', Big Vic, Costa, Coutinho, Can, Sanchez Manager - Koeman, obvs. As class as Toby has looked, he simply hasn't played enough to be considered player of the season or within the team of the season IMO.
  7. My favorite Connolly goal was the one against M'Boro, 25 pass goal or similar. Was a very good player for us in L1 and even in the NPC. So clever and class in his movement and touch, just a shame injuries finally caught up with him. Will always have fond memories of him at Saints.
  8. Maybe the last 2 days were more than enough ART, what with all the broken ankles and legs they're suffering with atm.
  9. Shes' well involved in it all, good to see. Hopefully she stuffed a nice new meaty contract up Morgans sleeve when she was picking him up.
  10. 5 pts separating 1st > 7th. Too close to call, with just 10 games to go.
  11. Down to 7th as it stands.
  12. Seeing Jay out there is amazing. (I'm pretty sure it was him!)
  13. Shocking GK from Fraser. L1 at best.
  14. It's tough at the top
  15. I think I know who you mean, he was a good guy but I felt in the end that he was sold a lot of rubbish and took it all a bit too seriously. I think I even thought there was something in it at some point, but when you had the likes of Saint David (Remember him???) and lifelongsaint posting, that started to raise big doubts for me. And then we had the good old fun with the Pinnacle bid, where some familiar names raised their heads above the trenches again - and that takeover would have been a true disaster for us I reckon.
  16. The best solution all round......I imagine that would knock a bit off of the final price Barca pay, but I'd take that - just to have him for 1 more year, and then the thought of him playing at Barca. Easily the best outcome.
  17. They won't all win, I don't think. There will be a surprise somewhere along the lines, possible either QPR or Newcastle in my book. Should be a good night's viewing whatever happens.
  18. You get a bit of dollar, but qualifying for that will never be a game changer in the sense of revenue etc. If anything it will be a decent stepping stone for the club, allow us to grow a bit more at a slower pace and expand our international brand.
  19. I thought the first half was pretty good, 30 mins or so we dominated it. Played with zip, purpose, pace, tempo. I thought after that, Palace got more of a grip and we slowed down. 2nd half wasn't as dominant and was a bit edgy, but oddly we got the goal when we probably weren't playing at the best level.
  20. Just reading the match thread, jesus. It wasn't half as bad as that!
  21. Back to his best tonight, thought he was class.
  22. Also, credit to Morgan - who I felt played like a man possessed, especially in the first half. He drove us on, back to his imperious best I thought. No doubting his focus or commitment what so ever.
  23. Yes, I liked Djuricic, looks a slick little customer. Gets stuck in as well, but lacks a bit of physical power. His little run with 2 or 3 pirouettes was class.
  24. Clyne hasn't played well for a while, you get the impression that his head is somewhat elsewhere - and may explain why Koeman is keen to resolve his future this week, one way or another.
