It's the same as is coming from all the players. I think they love it here, but if we stop progressing and start to stagnate then they will want to go. I think they're all ambitious enough to be wanting us to compete with Spurs and the likes, but I honestly don't believe the finance or ambition is there for us to get there...therefore, they'll probably go.

Interesting, but surely a bigger punishment would have been a transfer ban? Fining a PL champion £50m is loose change to them and doesn't actually help the route course...as they'd still be losing money! £50m doesn't really set much of a marker though. A much better punishment is a transfer ban for 2 seasons, as by failing the FPP they have shown that they've been unable to operate responsibly in the market....so they should be stopped from being allowed to operate in it! To be honest, Man City will probably say..look, we'll chuck you another £15m, let us have a full CL squad next year....''Oh OK City, thank you'' will most probably be the response. A financial punishment for clubs like City and PSG is kind of a let off to be honest.

Interesting listening to him last night, his future is far from certain there. The way he was talking you'd think his contract is up in the summer, but he has 2 years. He's meeting with the Palace chairman in the summer, as rightly so...he probably believes after what he's achieved, he should be allowed to push the club on and really consolidate them. Whether Palace will be able to provide the same level of financial backing as stoke remains to be seen however, but that's probably the sticking point. He'll be off if there's no real ambition there. He's kind of in a win-win, he's in a position to demand from Palace after what he's done for them, and if they don't provide him what he wants, then his stock has never been higher...

Don't think Morgan will go, and if he did, we've still got more than enough in CM. Huddlestone wouldn't improve us, would just add another pace-less player to our midfield, which is kind of the last thing we need. If there are 2 area's on the pitch that it's hard for us to really improve on, you'd have to say that it's RB and CM - Those areas are covered so well squad wise. Would be a waste of time buying another CM imo.

Why do we need other options in midfield exactly? Reed, JWP, Cork, Davis, Morgan, Wanyama

Thats why, for me, the 1-0 win at their place was our best away result of the season.

I think Pelligrini has done a decent job with them this year, he hasn't spend a fortune to be honest, but has managed to sort out their weaknesses. Most of their quality has come from the guys who were there before, so he's just managed to get more out of what was there. Well deserved league for them, I think.

An epic crash. 2 games ago it was theirs. Now it's gone. But to be honest, when you have the likes of skrtel and Johnson in their back 4, then they really shouldn't have had a chance. The quality of their defence is a joke for a team at the top of the league. Well done City anyway, by far and away the best squad in the league, so well deserved.

If that's true, then it means the players have known of interest, discussed and potentially agreed terms with prospective clubs. Going by what the club have said, including Reed in that we've had no bids, no enquires, and no interest then we could have a very strong case to submit to the league re: tapping up. Or it means that the club are spouting a load of waffle to get our money for season tickets, before selling everyone to the acclaim that it was ''too good to turn down'' and ''we will be stronger'', whilst we prepare for a relegation scrap. time will tell.

Lallana's against Hull for me, amazing effort. His one against Newcastle wasn't bad either!

I'm not saying he's not superb, but he's played sub-20 games this year and has only just come back into the side. He will not go to the WC based on that. It's up to him to start making the England staff's heads turn for the Euro's now.
