  1. They were a very dirty side, lots of trips and cynical fouls, realised early on the ref wasn't going to bother booking any so just carried on doing it.
  2. Yeah lower tier capacity capped at 1300, they love faffing about at the ticket office maybe they'll put more on sale if we sell those. At least on general sale now so any Northern based fans can get along.
  3. Nice one, more coaches, more tickets , great following. Lower tier on sale now https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/sheffield-wednesday-vs-southampton-ticket-information
  4. YES. Huge improvement required, one moment in the first half McCarthy with the ball at his feet and not one player moving for it
  5. I'm going to use this for kids coaching... How not to do it:
  6. Men against boys
  7. I didn't see anything from SAA to make me think he's ready to start in the championship, only a kid but far too easy to knock him off the ball. Djenepo had another calamity performance
  8. Completely agree. Line up in the first half was a mess, no one looked comfortable, centre back pairing really didn't work (Lyanco freshly back from his failed move in Istanbul) whole formation was disjointed, Bournemouth also very physical which we struggled to cope with, ref let a lot of cynical fouls go without booking. Much better after making changes We're really struggling passing around at the back, always look likely to make a mistake and it cost us two goals, need to learn from that.
  9. They've put another coach on here https://www.nickssaintsawaytravel.co.uk/?fbclid=IwAR0r2kPGFiuDCTiYn1rKelaeZocSGcQilwA1zZ3Ue1ogi8dLF6RVxGbNXsc
  10. The allocation behind the goal has almost all gone, but for some reason we've only been given the front half of that stand (first 14 rows) , not sure why they didn't give us whole lot, that's the completely open scaffolding stand so hope it doesn't rain, they've now put on two blocks in the side stand that does have a low roof, probably better in there for making a bit of noise, can see the start of that one in this image.
  11. Northam closed for home fans. Bournemouth have sold out usual away allocation 3200 so will just be blocks 40, 41, 42 left empty.
  12. Getting you used to doing it for other EFL games (non Saturday 3pm) I reckon Going to be such a weird game tonight, we've sold about 5k , Bournemouth have sold out the usual away section 3.2k , can't see many paying £20 matchday price with the watch online option available. If Martin was surprised how many fans showed up at Reading he'll have the opposite tonight.
  13. I wonder if that's why we didn't get more tickets, club would rather make money this way
  14. There were but upper tier was limited to 2400 (leaving loads of empty seats so despite a "sell out" it certainly won't look full) Lower tier restricted to 1300 , they let Plymouth have it last season , not sure why we don't https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-64943981
  15. It's a good point, even with restricted capacity the lower tier holds 1300, just going to be left empty when we could take quite a bit of it, just a waste.
  16. We have but weirdly they didn't put every block on sale behind the goal so just seems like wasted empty seats. Tons available in the home end so anyone after a ticket just go in there.
  17. Says sold out on website now so unlikely we'll get any more tickets
  18. Yeah it's odd, I called them up in the end, didn't realise it was linked to 2 extra tickets at the discounted price as was trying to get 4 in the family bit, had to use two different season ticket holders to do it and they made a right meal of it moaning on the phone, sorry to inconvenience you ticket office lady just trying to make a purchase! Was also £15 in family bit so £10 must be limited to Itchen South/ Chapel corner
  19. I know licencing authorities reduced capacity after problems at the Newcastle cup game last season but can't find anything saying that was permanent
  20. Crazy that, A) phenomenal effort if we'd sold out 2400 already for a Friday night up there B) surely they can release some more, that end holds loads more they gave Plymouth something like 3700 last season, we'd shift another few hundred easily between now and the game
  21. Seems a good deal but just tried to buy some using season ticket link and doesn't work, anyone been successful?
  22. Used to love watching it if Saints game had been moved from 3pm slot, get an acca on then watch the show hoping for good news as goals went in around the country, not watched it for a few years now but was good to watch in its prime
  23. He's fucking terrible
  24. Prices are very good I think, don't mind Kingsland plus being a bit more as fair spread of price choice around the ground. Hopefully we'll get good attendances up around 30k still
