Need to win bragging rights back after last seasons defeat Loads of good potential trips, Sutton away would decent
-
It's funny as what I've heard through a contact we we're gung ho with the Jones deal and basically paid up his Luton contract to get it done. This time we don't seem to be in a rush and negotiating on how much to pay.

I'm going to buy the Sportsbetio one for when I go to men's games and the Starling Bank one for when I go to watch the ladies.
-
Any space onboard please let me know, flights looking pricey so will be official bingo bus for me or try to persuade @The Cat to drive

Has potential to be a great trip that

He's still afraid of covid lighthouse, lighthouse, He only believes government PR lighthouse, lighthouse, He's triple jabbed, he covers his face, Stay at home protect the NHS Mr Lighthouse Southamptons fear machine

Take all of that with a pinch of salt, in someway I'm more concerned about the Swansea fans not slagging him off but completely unbothered about him leaving, happy to roll the dice and try someone else

I know we're going through a period of transition with key club employees leaving, but thought we'd have planned a few games by now. Looks like all the other championship clubs have something scheduled already, Plymouth make me laugh with most underwhelming mix against league two clubs FULL FIXTURE LIST Tuesday, 11th July – Plymouth Parkway (A) – 7.30pm Tuesday, 18th July – Torquay United (A) – 7.30pm Saturday, 22nd July – Forest Green Rovers (H) – 3pm Tuesday, 25th July - Salford City (H) - 7.30pm Saturday, 29th July – Swindon Town (A) – 3pm

You always sound so bitter in your posts, what happened to give you such a chip on your shoulder?

Spoke to a client based in South Wales, got talking about football and turned out he was a Swansea fan, asked about Martin, they generally don't seem that bothered to be losing him, strange situation really, let's just hope things click for him at St Mary's

Lighthouse is definitely one of those people who grassed on their neighbours for having one to many people round during lock down, just can't let it go.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed that, top man Le Tiss

They were gifted a 60k stadium to be fair, changed the dynamic a bit. Looks like they enjoyed this European tour, fair play.

Worst Southampton chants of the recent Premier League era?
JRM replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
Mars bar on his head -
He was picking up quite a few injuries as well so we missed him in some key games.

They'd already had a month off , think this is just two weeks isn't it then they have another break.
-
That's nice of them. It's far too early to tell though, I think it will be a very close division with a few points separating top and midtable. Some clubs will use the loan market well but often those deals are completed late in the window, just hope we can get a settled side with the new manager but it's bound to take time especially with players leaving.

“We wanted a change and we didn’t think that another long-serving manager of the Premier League was a change. What I saw in Nathan was pure energy that we needed, aggression and a guy that would make pitbulls out of our players. “He proved he could do this in Luton but he could not turn our squad that way, maybe it was the players he just didn’t get across and his system didn’t work. He was inexperienced as a manager in the Premier League, and maybe the pressure is at a different level and can break many people who are not used to that. “If I could not do it, I would – I would be the happiest guy if Nathan would actually be the hero of Luton Town, got his promotion to the Premiership and actually became a Premier League manager by promotion. “Having to sit at home and watch the team he practically created get promotion to the Premier League, it’s unbelievable. You can make a very emotional movie out of that. I feel very sorry in part for not enhancing his career, he is a good guy and an honest guy but perhaps wasn’t the right fit.”

Solak saying can make a sad film about Jones watching Luton be promoted was quite funny (in echo article)
-
Thanks mate, will have a look now to see if bookies are still taking bets on it
-
I'm sure he has, but for who?
-
ITK ? Would be quite funny if he's unveiled at LEICESTER

Looking at the grounds / distance / allocations I think very few will sell out to season ticket holders, no incentive to get your away games up to qualify for Bournemouth away for example. Hopefully QPR and Millwall give us upper and lower tiers as bound to be popular with lack of London games. Probably get Plymouth or Watford boxing day
-
Should be plenty for us then, going to be quite a few long trips that will be tough on the finances. Rotherham also only one I haven't done so will be a must. Not fussed about Sunderland (awful away end ) , Leeds, Middlesbrough , don't really like Norwich away end either stuck in the corner. Bristol City will be a good one, big allocation behind the goal, direct trains that aren't too pricey

Bloke near me in a saints shirt hardly said a word all game but jumped to his feet to clap Firminho off, very odd behavior , looked like a Saints fan but behavior says otherwise ²
