Well said. Mr Lewis is also giving up a million of his own money to support charities through this difficult time. He managed to increase this fund to 3 million by roping in some other selfless people. I doubt Branson, Mike Ashley, Phillip Green, Daniel Levy or any other c*nt of that ilk made any donation.

I was told a few weeks ago that the club were in the process of becoming lean and that Americans were going to buy the club. The person that told me is very close to the club, but is a born wind-up merchant. I honestly don’t know if he is being genuine or not, but there you go.

I don’t mind VAR. I’ve not got an issue with the VAR decisions that went against us. I did think the foul on Bertrand was worth looking at, so was a penalty appeal in the first half. VAR is still in its infancy and will hopefully improve over time.
