Couldn't give a toss if he leaves. Never failed to give us any more than 50%, and was invariably blowing out of his arse after an hour. Any chance of resigning Morgan and Vic?
-
Who do you reckon our first signing will be and when?

Funny he appeared on here after Nick Illingsworth did a purge on multiple log-in posters who pretty much ruined TUI message board. -
But who actually gives a f*ck.

If we only have money for transfers from what we sell, then so must every other club in the league bar the top 6. As I said before, if Hughes doesn't sign, then Krueger's interview last week will have proved to have been bullsh*t. Put out there with the sole intention of trying to sell a few season tickets. Hopefully, Hughes will sign though and that won't be the case.
-
I know. Make Reed's position redundant and have a chief exec.
-
Krueger will just look like a bullsh*tter who was trying to con people into getting season tickets, if Hughes isn't appointed. His comments in his recent interview suggested that Hughes appointment was virtually a done deal. Hopefully that's still the case.

I would have more respect for the authorities on this if no standing was actually enforced. The fact is that people stand at every all seater football stadium in this country, and nothing is done about it. The rail seats shown in the photo above would actually make grounds safer. German clubs, with massive attendances, have them. Why not us?

Decisions he's made in the last couple of years suggests to me he is making decisions based on what's best for him, rather than the club. Subservient manager's and Ross Wilson being examples of this. His son's agency business is seemingly a whole can of worms. For me, he has to go. Get Christian Purslow in as Chief Exec to run the club.

Can't say I'll lose too much sleep over it. What sad lives some people lead. He needs to get laid by something he doesn't have to inflate first.
-
Absolute bull. Probably put out there by Sky to start getting some action on their book on it.
-
Hopefully the weirdo trolls don't ruin this forum like they have with The Ugly Inside. They really are sad people.

The manager has to be the prime driver, otherwise you have a subs bench of £15m players who he doesn't rate. A decent DOF has the checks and balances role. I'd like us to go back to more actual scouting, rather than watching videos and having an advance preview of the Football Manager database.

If true, it suggests that Les Reed is pulling in his own direction rather than the club's. I reckon the last few windows, his choice of managers and his son's agency have fatally wounded him. That and Hughes seeing right through him, and seemingly sidelining him. If Les stays, I can't see his influence spreading beyond the lines mown on the pitch.
-
Is the only budget for signing players, from what we sell? Surely not.
-
Some people still call it The Dell!
-
He wouldn't have full control if he reported to a Chief Exec.
-
Les Reed may have a few certificates, but know way is he a better choice than Trevor Brooking.
-
Maybe the problem was Stoke's DOF.

Agreed. -
Don't agree. At times when City were putting the pressure on we did have 2 defensive lines. But it looked like the defensive line was high up the pitch for a fair part of the game.
-
Hopefully, Reed’s thoughts will be irrelevant.
-
Thought it was offside. Quite why Stephens was so far up the pitch i’ll never know. Hoedt was excellent. We were the better side.
-
Got to be Hughes.

None of it seems down to luck, just rank bad referees. It is incredulous that the richest league in the world is officiated by such incompetent half-wits. Michael Oliver is about the only competent one we have.
