Anybody Else Doing Strange Rituals For Good Luck
Wade Garrett replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Match day rituals make no difference to the outcome of a football match you mad bastards. -
Bullsh*t. I have 2 kids, both at school, and despair of the lazy f*ckers who drive their kids to school and think they can park where they like. W@nkers.

He was garbage. Easily as bad as Askham, not a patch on Woodford. He would rather use the club's money to prop up the share price than spend it on players, he didn't back his managers, and he gave the useless Wigley the job. Our Youth system in the 70s and 80s produced a lot more quality players than Rupert's did.
-
He looks like Peter Beardsley's lovechild.
-
Apparently we're after Hu Fuk-isi from Grampus 8 in Japan.
-
No it hasn't. It was good when I was a nipper (I'm 41 now). There were loads of decent shops and it was thriving. It owes its demise to out of town supermarkets and Vospers closing down. You sound like a bit of a snob.

We haven't even hit form yet. We're bound to sooner or later. Winning breeds confidence. We'll win the next three because we prepare for one game at a time and we're all on the bus.
-
So we've only lost their twice in the last 8 seasons. Don't be such a miserable b*stard, we're well due a win there and I reckon we're just about to hit a bit of form.

Woolston is still the b*llocks. The main problem is that a lot of the pubs around Merry Oak and Weston have closed, so the pondlife whose sad existence seems to revolve around drinking their benefits money go to Woolston instead. The parents scene in the original post is typical of anywhere, not just Woolston. The area has really suffered since Vospers shut down. There are too many empty shops and it generally has become a bit of a sh*thole of late. Hopefully the big new development on the Vospers site will restore the area to former glories.

I thought the it was quite funny. Harry Hill is a genius. Will probably donate a fiver. Still get annoyed when I see those poor Africans suffering while their corrupt leaders have pointless wars, hoard cash for themselves and don't seem to give a toss about their people.
-
FWIW, I've been told he's definitely not coming.
-
I've got to be honest, but my reaction when I heard of the quibbling of Howard's price (£300k), was that maybe the Liebherr 5 year project has hit the buffers.
-
Not a clue. I got my info from a mate of Howard's. To be honest, it doesn't look great (if true) if we're quibbling over 300k for a player who would walk into our side.
-
I've heard that Cortese is considering another deal, as Reading want £300k transfer fee (if we go up). Apparently there is a cheaper deal elsewhere.
-
If it's another Arsenal loanee then Oxo is definitely there next season.

Celebrities and other 'famous' people you think are total bellends.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. An embarrassment to our country, and they like/take money off of convicted paedos. -
Hard to disagree with that. I do admire the way he dealt with the banking crisis, but he was never going to win an election. Labour have shot themselves in the foot by electing Ed. A far better alternative would have been Milliband D who could have got James Purnell back as well. Formidable opposition to the lamentable Cameron, Osbourne and Hague.

You don't need Speak and Spell, just get a calculator. You can amuse yourself for hours simply by entering the number 80085. It may make the rest of your sad life a little happier.

I can't see Bournemouth maintaining their excellent form until the end of the season. We are picking up the points playing below the standards we can reasonably expect from our squad. I'm sure the decent performances are just around the corner. Lambert really needs to up his game though.

When I played for Sholing Sports we used to regularly turn Totton over. F*cking carrott sucking c*nts.

Be very careful buying gear off ebay. Even the most genuine looking sellers can be bogus. I remember reading about fake golf clubs being sold on ebay, and it was a massive multi-million pound international operation. The police convicted some of the criminals, but admitted they wouldn't be able to stop them. Why don't you try a jumble sale you cheap bastard?

I have always voted Labour, but I really want this Government to do well. It's in our country's interests for them to be a success. Unfortunately, it looks to me like they're out of their depth. They haven't inspired me, and even big business is complaining about them. I hope they can get it right, and appreciate that some things take time, but I can't see them taking the Country forward, raising growth and improving public services. The least they could do would be to sort the non-doms out. That would cheer me up no end, as I'm already about a couple of hundred quid a month down since the Tories got in.

We'll destroy them. Then we'll destroy Bournemouth on Saturday.
