Have you ever fucking played football. Bednarek was going for the ball so Manning should have been dropping off. First goal he got sucked inside and left the scorer free, last goal, his attempt to block the ball would have shamed a Wessex League defender. Maybe it doesn’t work like that on the fucking PlayStation.

His positioning is abysmal. If I was the keeper I would be screaming at him all game. Continually get sucked infield leaving huge gaps on the pitch. Was terrible for all 3 of their goals. He has to be dropped. Not even on the bench for me, unless injuries dictate.

Smallbone was excellent, but then, he was playing in his proper position.

As inept a performance today as George Weah’s cousin on his debut.

To be fair, that has more to do with Downes being out and Smallbone playing DM.

If I was the owner I would be on the blower to Steve Cooper….. He’d be much better at left back than Manning.

Downes is back! We’re back on the winning trail then. Those Zulu cunts won’t know what’s hit them. Emphatic 4-0 win. Smallbone on the scoresheet playing in his best position. Those Brummie cunts won’t be ‘alroight duckeye’ by the time we’ve finished with them.

That is admirable and I share his thoughts on social media. The fact is though, that the team doesn’t function well whenever Smallbone is played in Downes position. I don’t blame him for that, you wouldn’t moan if MLT couldn’t play defensive midfield. Martin is right, he should be accountable for that, not the player.

You have a point, but a big part of me thinks that we’ve been well and truly worked out and Russ is going to have to come up with an alternative way of playing. That doesn’t mean hoofball by the way.
