I've never been called, but isn't there a limit to the number of times you can potentially be called?

I would be more inclined to get into primary schools these days. As a male you are pretty much nailed on for any job you apply for and considering that primary schooling in Britain is the worse porition of a person's schooling throughout their lives (taking into account primary, secondary, college, uni) due to the amount of dinosaurs in the game who refuse to change their teaching style, the appalling levels of literacy many pupils come in with at year 7 or headteacher's reluctance to incorporate new initiatives, it is the sort of setting where you can 'climb the ladder' really fast if you're willing to put the work in.

Do you think this needs to go to 'golden posts'? I can't think of many politically motivated threads that have ended in almost near-all agreement?

Couldn't care less about England - I even struggle to worked up about them when they're in a major tournament. For me it is Saints and nothing else 99.99999999999% of the time.

I find it amazing that 'football fans' can be so bloody ignorant of football. All they have to do is listen to a few podcasts/read a few articles and you can be pretty much clued up.

I accept your opening sentence, and that is great news, but why the need to then start seemingly 'having a pop' is beyond me? I know there were other conflicts (please remember my qualifications) my grandad fought at Suez and has given me his campaign medal, but as I said originally, you ask any member of the public what the poppy represents they will mention the two world wars and possibly the Falklands. As the vets of those wars sadly fade away, I was merely posing the question as to whether the two could possibly co-exist given the quite excellent 'publicity' given to H4H and the notable lack of advertising on the BBC for their coverage of the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow and Rememberance Sunday. I wish I shared your confidence. The numbers of people today who weren't wearing a poppy shocked me and when questioned they just went "Oh yeah, should have bought one really"...and I was on the exam board's history moderating course today!
