  1. Think it was a few of them as I recall, Tommac & Helpmerhondda spring immediately to mind. Perhaps there were a consortium of them. Must be a collective noun for a group of imposters on a m.board, a "b^ll**** of imposters" perhaps ?
  2. Look what you started in the cooments below. Wonder what Big Adam's sources are. Hope its better placed than a brief chat with the proprietor whilst on a stop off in a Chinese takeaway before he reached home last night.
  3. And John Bailey next.
  4. from his time at Newcastle ?
  5. If we got to that stage then the likelihood is that NC & Wang will want a manager proven at that "next level" , so expect MP's days to be numbered, and await Pep Guadiola or Jurgen Klopp's arrival. We are only assuming Wang would stick with NC of course, as he has no experience of a club of that size on the European/world stage. Really ? Protect our - as in the supporters - interests ? Wonder if you'll still be saying that wnen ticket prices are £60 a time, £80 for the CL matches.
  6. Only of course if there is a willing seller. Perhaps KL will want to avoid selling if NC is involved.
  7. Yes - same bloke/consortium own Watford and an Italian club, I think. (Udinese ?)
  8. If he does buy us, will our nickname, and chant change to "c'mon you wangers" ?
  9. Having seen what Tan and that clown at Hull have done to their clubs, it might be best to give investment from the far east a miss. Although if it does happen, I suspect Wang will keep a closer eye on Cortese's handling of his investment than the Liebherr's have.
  10. Probably the safest pair of hands they can wish for, providing already known to the Liebherr family, and he knows KL & Co are watching over his shoulder.
  11. I give up, who ? Do you mean Purslow ? Mention of Poulson, perhaps he should be avoided ; if related to this f^cker, a dodgy corrupt architect . He'd give 'arry and El Spiv a run for their money in the Alleged Brown Envelope Stakes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Poulson
  12. Good news. In the good old days though, after a long coach trip back from the north east, I expect McGrath, Gabriel or Fisher would be first off the coach, and last propping the bar up when they got back, serious leg injury or not.
  13. Last week many said Ramirez changed the game for us after coming on with his pass to AL. This week poor bugger was carried off so perhaps did not have the same opportunity to complete the task.
  14. speculation or announced ?
  15. I think I read on here though that NC did not always travel to away games so I don't think too much should be read in to this.

    Well

Possibly his mind is already made up ?

    Well

Fair question. Immediate answer is for continual squad improvement, but can we attract with this uncertainty hanging over ? Unfortunately I suspect KL and MP will be playing a bit of 'cat and mouse' or 'bluff' with each other over the next few weeks, neither knowing what the others intentions are, and neither really being prepared to show their own hand.

    Well

I hope the FA Cup keeps it interesting, but given our attitude to the cups recent seasons I won't count on it.
  19. Badger

    Well

Assuming of course its not back to a revolving door this summer, new manager, rip it all up and start all over again ?
  20. Will he manage to motivate himself against Yeovil ? Just a thought.
  21. As said on the match thread: Good to be talking about the team, tactics, squad depth again though as opposed to 'visions' , "sell or not to sell" , and corporate accountability of chief executives. But: **** poor result given a dominant lead injuries - ****ed again , especially as Boluc looked like coming off at one point before Ramirez and Lovren's injuries Have not seen the goals conceded to comment on any individual errors Finishing yet again - wasteful Conclusion then, as said at about half time, wasteful in front of goal when dominating, thrown away etc. So glad that its "business as usual" and that this weeks events have not affected them in any way.
  22. From that his world cup could be in serious jeopardy
  23. F'king OUCH !!
  24. Are you surprised ?
