I did highlight Guly in the original post I replied to although did not mention specifically in my reply. Yes, he did contribute, although he was , and is, inconsistent my favourite Guly moment was the goal v Bristol Rovers at home, 1-0 , but so important as the season drew out. I live in fear of what unSaints-like kit we might have to endure next season. Having spent over 40years following them, I'd love to see Saints, in our Red&White stripes, or a Keeganesque style kit, tear the Premiership apart, or just continuing to progress, rather than watching us take the field in a L/pool, or Forest retro shirt. A small matter perhaps, possibly even trifling, but a lot of time,energy and money has gone into the last 40 years.

The trouble with "gold" shirts, is that whilst the intention is for it to appear gold, for everything this represents, the colours produced tend to look a range of beige,dull metallic yellow, sand (as this does),drab chicken korma, or even a diarrhoea shade of dog sh!t. Which will it be ?
