  1. Timing of his comments, and expressing a desire to put himself in the shop window for World Cup selection suggests to me he'd be quite keen to move in January. Anyway, someone has already said we're in for Cassilas. (not that I can see that one happening).
  2. Andy Awful must be a scummer too the, as he talks about the defeat to spurs, and even spoke to his team about it so that they didn't feel too bad about losing 7-0 !
  3. Ah yes, and of course they have the added advantage of a Championship squad to cope with it.
  4. Best recollection - the spurs game immediately springs to mind. Always liked Anders but just felt he could not up meet the demands of the premiership week in week out to reach his full potential with us.
  5. As have Burnley (albeit on 21st rather than 22nd), so I doubt they'll put a full first team out for this.
  6. Ryan Gauld at Dundee Utd is talked about as a good prospect, dubbed the 'mini Messi' apparently. Reckon we should bring him down here, he could be the next Neil McCann for us.
  7. Was Sam Gallagher the lad we signed from Plymouth ? Shortly after Jack Stephens if I remember correctly.
  8. Brentford - don't recall that one, unless you're thinking of Mark Paul. If so, I think he was a bit older when he joined us from non league. Matthew Patterson v Man Utd.
  9. Is this an actual link, or just your own recommendation ?
  10. To be fair though, many people on here thought Coppell would have been something of a coup had we appointed him at the time Pardew came in. That of course though was what four years ago ? Since when Coppell has done bugger all of note, although behind the scenes - if allowed to - he could be a useful DoF for them.
  11. Just read this vote of no confidence on one of their sites : from: http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=527289 (went on there to read about tonight's 7-0 and found that).
  12. The blokes on the extreme left and Catlin look like they could pass as a pair of undertakers, probably have more fun at an undertakers convention. Looks like an aging Terry Venables. Every bit as trustworthy I'm sure.
  13. How far is Ryan Seagar from the step up ?
  14. Ah, yes but a couple of thousand will come up on the night , some getting off at St Denys to beat the Old Bill's blanket security. And then there are bound to be a few Millwall who just come here knowing there will be a 'ruck' ... or is it just Pompey who come to town - in vast numbers - when we play Millwall. All on Planetskate of course.
  15. Done
  16. Stupid c^nt probably thought he might gain some kudos from duping AL into the photograph, but did not realise the low brow level of retard who follows skatesmouth.
  17. Presumably Xavi is deferred until the summer. But I'm not sure if he'd get a game at the moment. Plus.did we ever resolve the question as to whether is better than Hammond ?
  18. As demonstrated at The Emirates ? Perhaps this was the point at which The Don passed Reid a note to find me a keeper...
  19. Oh yes, of course he'd give that up. Although the World Cup preparation though is a valid point, but still can't see it.
  20. Probably complete b0llocks. Why would he leave Madrid ? Never mind come to us.
  21. Thought skates would now be more concerned about their newest, and closest league rivals, Salisbury City, than us now.
  22. Very impressed with him today, first time I have seen him as an attacking threat rather than a solid RB. Looks an excellent prospect. Only 'downside' if there is one is that Clyne though does offer a bit more in terms of pace.
  23. The comparison for me is not so much MLT , but Frank Worthington in his prime, a tall skilful CF with great skill, but only 'play's when fully focused and motivated. And the hairstyle !
