  1. On our last visit to the club shop I didn't see any of the retro shirts on display ( or at least not from the Keegan era that caught my eye).
  2. It really should be easy you'd have thought.
  3. The Wales home kit looks familiar..... No thanks
  4. Did he ever meet Cortese ? If so, what stories to tell ? Who was the biggest p1ss artist at the club during the Alehouse days ?
  5. Ridiculous idea, bit of a naan starter as far as I'm concerned.
  6. If I had to nominate a player just for a 'lol factor',then 'Chicken George' would be on the bench for that.
  7. Niemi Golac - McGrath - Steele - Dennis Schneiderlin - Ball - Armstrong Channon - Davies - Le Tiss Subs : Flowers, Gabriel, Peach, O'Neil, Williams, Fisher, Lambert Schneiderlin shades it ahead of Williams as I think there is greater potential in him.Just hope he does not do a 'Williams' and p!ss off to North London. Honourable mentions to Paine, and Michael Svenson. Hugh Fisher just has to be a sub for his part in the 1976 Cup success, from the bench.
  8. Some great options there, y ou're obviously of the same vintage as me.
  9. Yes it was. What does 1984 mean to most on here ? George Orwell ? Or Steve Moran, last minute winner in the FA Cup Fourth round ?
  10. or is it a long overdue announcement re their 70,000 all seater amphibious aqua-stadium
  11. Yes,I think we heard a few strains of this : Someone obviously has a good memory to dig this out of the 1970's archives From what I could hear it was: oh,ho ho he's magic, you know Graziano...
  12. an interesting stat, but did he score against us for Burnley ?
  13. Its not really an issue to argue over as its appalling no matter who the offenders were, but you have to wonder though don't you ?
  14. Appalling and disgraceful act that is beyond the limits of football rivalry, an act of a complete moron.
  15. Going back a few years, but Frank Worthington always managed to score against us.
  16. I thinkwe're all happy with KD as backup, providing we don't need to call upon himto play. You've probably answered your own question there.
  17. bet the c^nt spent last season dreaming of being booked for Liverpool
  18. Excellent result - league table looks good (just being above Poch and the yids makes it good reading in itself).
  19. Pity we didn't find a "better one" then, rather than Long as the "instead of" option.
  20. Agree, whereas F^ckitupatino managed to attract Pablo Dani Osvaldo..
  21. Good, hope he lives up to the high expectations.
  22. That and the square heads with boxes will remain in our memories for a long time.
  23. Jos was an integral part of our promotion, and still contributed to the squad afterwards, perhaps moreso in the dressing room camp than on the pitch, which can't be underestimated. Good luck to him, seems a good bloke who has ended up at a decent club, wish him and Norwich well.
  24. He's probably waiting for one to emerge from our Academy.
