Started out as reassuring as you say,but now interpreted by many as perhaps attention seeking and ego building.To be fair though we have to say TL is damned if he does,and damned if he does not.In hindsight it might have been best not to have embarked on this line of communication. Some fair and valid points. Track record of those writing on forums is not too impressive . Fialka is indeed a worry,although is better than having no club at all. Yes,I too regret MLT might be setting himself up for a great deal of public humiliation by being too closely associated with this group.At some stage someone wrote that MLT had been instrumental in bringing backers to the table.Now that one has been revealed that just does not seem plausible to me. Would not however want Lowe back.

It begs the question as to why they wheeled him out to face the media,without fully explaining the situation regarding the involvement of others. Until a satisfactory answer is given,or full details known,it does nothing to restore confidence.Completely the opposite.

After this weeks circus I certainly share your concerns re Pinnacle,and how they have conducted issues to date.

Agree with your conclusion but at an earlier stage 'proof of funds ' must have been made.So either the original proposal was lets say "creative",or there has been a significant change of personnel within or behind the Pinnacle bid.

Surely this would not satisfy the FL in respect of the fit and proper persons test.The league will wamt to know the financier behind it,not who is fronting it. I always admired the logo on the badge which I believe was based on a charicature drawn by 'Os' in the Echo. That Saint figure would have/still could have made a great mascot for the club.

Speculate on this: 1.why is it so late 2.What time will he issue it 3.Content: will it be A)tell us how hard they are working to do everything in their power....but the FL are being beastly and horrible ,and its the FL who are misunderstanding the issue or: B)deal done

That s the worrying thing. The last three weeks would have been for nothing if they don't tie this thing up over the next 72 hrs. But IF what we have previously been told is correct , funds have not been the issue. The fact Pinnacle got as far as talking to The League tends to support that view.Unless of course it means funds to start the fight and climb back from a lower position than Pinnacle had budgeted for.
