You’re taking this result in isolation. Given the nature of our 2 wins & one of our draws, our points total is about right. Anyone can pick and choose performances to reinforce their opinions, but taken as a whole this season has been fucking woeful so far. Yes, we deserved to win Saturday, but have picked up points we haven’t deserved previously. If you’re going to give merit to Weasley for Saturday’s performance, that needs to be balanced against performances where we picked up points we probably didn’t deserve

He didn’t even know which team was involved, so it’s safe to say his finger isn’t exactly on the pulse. Just another opportunity to have a go at Israelis really.
-
What do you think of pride police cars, trains & zebra crossings etc.

I know the bloke who decorated that house, he said pictures don’t do it justice….

If Portsmouth had a better centre forward, they’d have beaten us. It’s so easy to hide his failings behind other excuses. We had it last year, it was so hard for a promoted team to stay up (how’s that line going). With our wage bill, our squad, we should be higher, that’s on the manager, nobody else…
-
Well Egg keeps calling them Haifa, so you do start to wonder, surely he’d get the teams involved right…. It’s clearly not the away fans behaviour, so I don’t know why he insists it is. John Mann who is the Government advisor on antisemitism and long time campaigner against it has released a few facts of his own. The police and Birmingham council have ignored my advice. Unlike them I spent 3 days investigating the incidents in Amsterdam . Both clubs want all fans there and have fully cooperated in making this happen. The feitenrelaas from Amsterdam police and council re Ajax v Maccabi Tel Aviv is unambiguous. 62 arrests. 49 Dutch, 10 Israelis. 5 injuries all minor, all Israelis. These are the facts . The police have had my detailed report on Amsterdam for 6 months. They have had my written advice as has Birmingham council. The decision is not based on police or Mayoral advice from Amsterdam.

Funny isn’t it, the more people we import from different cultures the more divided we’re becoming. Flags have been used for years to signal people’s virtue, whether it’s LGBT, Palestinian or some other woke pony. So it’s no surprise that people want to signal their patriotism by flying the nations. If “outsiders” have a problem with that, perhaps they’re living in the wrong country.
-
Nor do I, but why can’t people fly the flag if they want to. Like the French do, like Americans do. And why would flying a flag be divisive, it’s something that unites a nation, like the national anthem. Surely it’s only divisive to people who don't want to integrate.
-
I thought it was Maccabi Tel Aviv, not Maccabi Haifa.

Fucking hell, we’re in Britain man…Typical soft arsed leftie, the attitude that will send Nigel to number 10. So putting British flags up in Britain is making “outsiders” uncomfortable. I suggest they fuck off and live somewhere else then. Some country that doesn’t fly its flag. Good luck with finding one. They fly the flag in the US everywhere, as an immigrant, it didn’t make me feel “uncomfortable” why should it? Interesting use of outsiders as well, personally I think it’s their flag if they’re British, it doesn’t belong to the white population.

You think a bloke so shite that he can’t get a game, needs more game time?
-
Fuck me if he’s “bang average”, what does that make Prowse, Benali and some of our other “legends”.

This is the issue. Obviously we should have won yesterday, but that’s avoiding the fact we could have easily drawn both the games we won, and lost to The Skates. Our points total is about right for performances and that’s unacceptable. The question is whether this guy is capable of turning it round, and addressing the underlying issues and straightening them out. To me he looks like a little boy lost, unsure of what his best side is, and subtly trying to blame the previous regime and mindset of players. This is a tough arsed league, relentless, you can’t be learning in the job. This squad of players would be higher in the league under Nathan Jones or Lego Head, bearing in mind their weaknesses, that’s a damning indictment of Still. I hate to say it, but he looks like son in law material, rather than the hard nosed, proper manager you need in this league.
-
Did they make cocks of themselves like some of our nods did when we spent hours top?
-
It’s all a load of old fucking pony. All talk. Results are all that matters, and they’re not good enough. We’re 3 points behind Nathan Jones, who has a far inferior squad. That’s not fucking good enough. If players are “scared” fuck them off. It’s St Mary’s in the second tier, if they’re scared of that, they need to do one….If Weasley can’t sort them out, he needs binning as well.

Absolutely I am. Exactly the same as you would if Tommy Robinson claimed he didn’t hate Muslims, he only hated the Pakistani government, and didn’t want Pakistani’s banned from the lords test because they were Muslims, but because of their Government policies.
-
“All”, now who’s spouting “absolute nonsense”. Where have I done that. You’ve been critical of the Israeli Government, I don’t cal, you anti semitic. My argument is clearly too complicated for you, which is a shame. What I said was SOME (and imo a majority of activists & community leaders) hide their antisemitism behind a mask of being anti Isreal. They use “Zionist” and “Israeli” when they clearly mean Jews. If Nick Griffin said he didn’t hate blacks, just the Jamaican government I’m sure you wouldn’t jump to his defence.
-
Fuck me, they really shouldn’t. Most I've met won’t fuck about, including the chicks. Workshop boy & his chanting halfwits will get mullered.
-
“Pick a lane” 😂 Here's my lane. IMO the vast majority of the Muslim community leaders and activists “criticising”, Isreal are actually anti semitic. “Isreal” or “Zionist” is code for Jews. They hate Jews because they’re Jews. The creation of Isreal and its subsequent behaviour have given them a get out, which can mask their hatred of Jews. At least Nick Griffin & his Neanderthal’s were up front, they didn’t try to say “we don’t hate Blacks, we’re just opposed to the Jamaican or Gambian Government”. These supporters are as responsible for the West Bank or Gaza as much as I was responsible for Northern Ireland. Why shouldn’t they be welcomed to come and support their team, and why would this not be an issue if the game was in another part of the country. Because Birmingham is a steaming hot bed of prejudice and it’s no coincidence given the make up of that particular community. Hamas have agreed a ceasefire, but these guys can’t come to our country and support their team. A national disgrace imo.
-
Isreal is clearly not in Europe, but we know why they play in UEFA competitions. It’s clearly going to become an issue in Europe unless the authorities take a robust and ethical approach to this. If sides from certain countries are allowed to compete, then their supporters should be allowed to watch the games. The only exception should be when the governing body sanction them for some sort of transaction or previous behaviour. If the home club are unable to protect the away support, then the game should be switched to a venue that can. The local residents, community leaders, or protest groups feelings or opinions should be irrelevant.
-
😂 You don’t believe this pony do you? In other news Nick Griffin wants a ban on away supporters at the Oval. Not because they’re black, but because they’re West Indian.
-
Absolutely laughable the way people are tying themselves in knots over this. “It’s because they’ll cause trouble”, lol . Had that been the case the statement would have said so. They were banned because they support an Israeli team, and the local Muslim community & assorted half wits cosplaying Palestinian’s will kick off. The fact it comes in the week a “peace” has been declared tells you all you need to know about the real motivation behind this.
-
That’s the nub of the issue.
