Bet365 were offering 500-1 earlier. Now down to 80-1.

Brighton are incredibly well run from top to bottom (I do have some personal insight into that). There will always be a degree of luck in transfers of course but they get it consistently right which is no coincidence and they have their core supporting structures spot on. Saints couldn't be further from that sadly - we are run by a team of desperate gamblers at a roulette wheel.
-
It's the whole Sport Republic model. They want to emulate Brighton, the difference being that Brighton are good at it.
-
Mid-table mediocrity - we don't do the basics in defence, we don't win 2nd balls. Far too soft as a group.
-
They need to go. The poor decisions repeated again and again, the money they have wasted, the lack of dealing with the blindingly obvious weaknesses on the pitch, the seeming need to try to re-invent football, the propaganda that we should be delighted when we get good fees for young talent - it is a catalogue of failure and I'm not sure many on here have any confidence in it changing.

This is so true

The most disgraceful thing about it all is that Oxford's winner was no surprise - totally obvious. There was so much wrong today - totally unacceptable.

Michael Stensgaard

100% - too many without any backbone when it gets slightly difficult.
-
No way this team will go up. GK and defence poor, physically weak side generally, mentally weak side generally, fuck all on pitch leadership.
-
We don't cope well with physical teams, a few too many son-in-laws out there today, we were at no point comfortable, credit to Millwall. Special mention to Aribo who put in one the laziest, disinterested performances I can remember. I hope he never plays for us again.

Sport Republic will dither replacing the footbridge, then decide on a long term temporary one.
-
At this stage you have just (and continue to on this thread) tied yourself in knots.

"Johannes, before we rubber stamp the appointment and make the offer, can you check that Farmer Saint has signed off on it and is happy?".
-
Fair comment, all listed were very much in favour. If you were out of the fold then you may as well have been excommunicated. My point was more it was not a harmonious tenure, so bringing him back in wouldn't be the right solution now.
-
The spanner in the works of this cunning plan is that Ralph was disliked by most of the players and staff. His appointment certainly wouldn't bring people together.
-
It's the Sport Republic and Budget playbook - put out the worst case scenarios so the reality doesn't seem quite as bad as expected.
-
You think Sport Republic have a strategy? 🤣🤣
-
I see Manji was on earlier, wasn't he a Lowe free ticket cheerleader? Assumed he was saintsweb equivalent of the Japanese bloke in the jungle who hadn't realised the war had finished, but actually appears to be championing Sport Republic these days. Funny that.
-
Solak seems to get away without much criticism but he lets the same buffoons repeat the same mistakes over and over again. It's actually incredible.
-
How do you know he doesn't? Puerile argument.
-
To insinuate that there is nobody available and therefore we should go the unproven route (again) is ludicrous.
-
The PR machine was in full flow on Saturday with MLT rolled out as well. SR are abysmal, lurching from one self-made crisis to another.
-
Everything he said about man management is true. Deeply unpopular with staff and players - he "lost" the dressing room and wider support staff.
-
Same playbook as new signings.
