I was actually referencing the comments around the financial situation in the article. I agree with your other comments btw.
-
Sounds like the opposite of what Solak said. Doubt that article is based on anything factual.

https://www.transferfeed.com/transfers/jens-hjert-dahl-troms-southampton/42344040 Not sure about the source or the player.

We have an option to extend for a year so technically two.

Strolling around like a pre-season friendly. No tempo, ponderous, crab-like football.

Thanks FF. Interesting and I'm sure you wouldn't have posted unless interested parties comfortable with you doing so.

Or he could have done a bit of surveillance for us.
-
I very much doubt we will have the budget for sentimentality in peripheral coaching staff/cheerleaders.
-
Peretz just said he loves the manager which I was surprised about tbh. Also interesting that Spors delivered the news about the appeal to the players - perhaps Tonda has been suspended.
-
Whatever the opposite of a blinder is, he has played it.
-
Well it shows what I know. They absolutely should have sacked him before the hearing after the internal investigation.
-
And Garner didn't think to tell him?
-
Far worse goes on in football on and off the pitch - the hypocritical media frenzy is ridiculous. But we still knowingly broke the rules - for what gain we don't really know - if there was no advantage why did we continue to do it, and lets face it, it would have been more than 3 times.
-
That and the fact that under the rules we have systemically cheated.
-
I agree with all of this and the Parsons comments - honourable, but so naive. Football is so corrupt no place for good guys. The media moral outrage is something to behold given everything else that goes on in the game.
-
Impossible for him to stay and why would anyone want him to if he has fucked everyone over?
-
That might be best case scenario
-
To who though? We are damaged goods.
-
If this report is true, which I think it is, then Parsons has been incredibly naive. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/05/19/spygate-scandal-english-football-southampton-middlesbrough/
-
The way things are going we may soon be rattling buckets asking Bournemouth to put a few quid in.
-
It seems convenient but you may be right. The final report will make depressingly interesting reading.
