He's doing it to get attention. It looks to me like he's winning.

IMF study finds inequality is damaging to economic growth
hutch replied to Ex Lion Tamer's topic in The Lounge
I see the way you slip that piece of nonsense in as if it some kind of fact. -
Quaint, but sadly no longer true. While sitting here typing this reply from somewhere in the Middle East I could very well be picking up a conviction for speeding on the M25

Read "The News". They'll soon tell you

To be fair to him, it's going to be so much easier to build another new squad for next season, without the hindrance of all those pesky parachute payments that have been holding them back for the last four years.

OK thanks. I'm getting conflicting advice. Some say you need to "register" your decoder, and others say you need to get a new one. I'll wait until after 1st March and see what happens. Thanks.
-
Do we need a specific type of new decoder? The rep from OSN is offering me a new dual card decoder, he says it can take a BEIN sports card. Is that true?

So not worth a satellite subscription for the rest of this season then.

So just 6 months after the season started, and they've nearly sorted out a training pitch. My goodness this "fan ownership" malarkey really is going to give world football the shake-up it needs. I'm sure if we went three quarters of the season without a training pitch we'd be trumpetting it all over the media as well. They'll be lucky to hang on to Caitlin, what with the FIFA President position up for grabs next year. Unless it's just an excuse to put a subliminal message out there that the Tesco application desperately needs some positive comments to balance the unexpected level of objection. I suppose the clue would be in the timing.

The questions are is it a covenant and is it for the benefit of existing retailers. The answer to both is no.
-
It's not a covenant, it's a policy, for the benefit of PFC. I don't recall any reference to protecting retailers. I have it somewhere on my laptop. It's part of the Portsmouth Plan.

Wrong thread bear. That one should be on Bletch's thread.

South West Trains slammed for treatment of pregnant woman
hutch replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
Are you suggesting something like a Season Ticket with a seat number on it? That might catch on here. You could wave it around for other travellers to see. And if you're not using it, you could lend it to your mates so they could sit for free and watch all the pregnant women fall over. -
Can any of you desert-dwellers confirm if Jazeera/BEIN are now carrying all the PL games live again (via satellite TV not online)?

Is there room for Fortnum's at SMS?
-
They won't need to, what with their turnover being boosted by £300m a year n'all. It will be the most profitablist Tesco in the world.

I thought I'd look up "Share" in the Oxford dictionary, just in case Neil could claim any benefit of doubt: "one of the equal parts into which a company’s capital is divided, entitling the holder to a proportion of the profits" Nope, sorry Neil. I don't know what you "bought" but it most definitely is not what is known as a "share" in the English language.

You have to take a balanced view of your own circumstances. If your job does involve interfacing with Clients, then there is nothing to stop your (present) employer from informing all your present Clients that you are prevented from doing business with them at your (new) company for 12 months. Depending on circumstances, that might limit your value to a new employer. Only you can decide.

Regent's canal?

Video only, or do they also have audio to pick up stray farts?
-
Definitely true. After all, you only have to look at Blackburn. And Wigan. And Reading. And Fulham. And Portsmouth. And .........

If I only new back then how much fun you could have with words I would of paid more attention in English lessons

And, don't forget the average ST price they received was less than a tenner a head. Not hard to sell them when you're practically giving them away.

Hear hear. I can confirm from personal experience that the barrel of an AK47 does not fit up either of my nostrils.

The verdict is already in. It never happened. Bradley made it all up to cover his own guilt for swearing at the bestest women and children. Apparently. So villain it is then.
