But why should that be a problem, when the Chairman of the Supporter's Trust has gone on the record tonight to reassure everybody how very conservative all their projections are, and how they can ride any storm.

I just listened to a bit of an interview with, I think, Colin Farmery, on the wireless. I'm sure I heard him refer to a problem that Stuart was lookin to do wiv the administrator to purchase Fratton Park, wot they only found out about on Wednesday night. Now I might be a bit slow on the uptake, but I thought that: 1. Birch was selling everything to the Trust, and; 2. Everything was agreed in a conditional sale agreement, except the price for Fratton Park i suppose it is futile to expect even a modicum of integrity from anybody involved down there.

Gonna be a real problem if the club with the lowest wage bill in the league, definately, absolutely, scouts honour, cross my heart and hope to die, 'coz I read it in the News, is still losing £200k a month. Innit?

The judge has already told PKF's counsel that he wants 2days to hear experts on the valuation issue, so it ain't happening this year.

Apparently he found out that to win "Sports Journalist of the Year" trophies, you either have to be a really really good journalist, or pretend that you have fifteen fingers.
-
But he has got contacts though. He gets everything, as it happens, straight from Nabil Hassan at the BBC.

Which surely means that he didn't get the Gaydamak land, so back to the fundamental question "who did?". Their fate hangs on the answer.

Except that would fall foul of the FL conditions for the golden share

I heard he was looking for a Virgin from a British Island. Or something like that.

Whatever is going on, it's a lot more complicated than we think. We have been led to believe that Robinson has secured the Gaydamak land (for around £2.5m if the reports are to be believed). If he has then I don't see how he would have any real difficulty in raising the required sum to complete the jigsaw. but if he hasn't secured that land then who has? I don't think it's about money, I think it's about people.

Not having money has never been a problem for their previous owners, so it can't be that.

Only until the parachute payment they received in August runs out.

Except that his actual weasel words were: My own prediction, for what it's worth, is that PKF will keep on collecting their fees.

They have a plan to avoid another relegaton this season: So at least they're not just sitting back and waiting for the inevitable.

Going from memory here, but I think I remember that anybody owning more than 10% has to take the test.

As I've seen it explained, they will always have control of the board (of the club that is, not the Trust) irrespective of shareholding split. The PST will have a MAXIMUM of 3 directors on the board and the HNWs will have a MIMIMUM of 3 directors on the board.

Gosh, that's gonna disappoint the few. Most of them had Mike Hall, dressed as Perry Mason, giving him the third degree in the dock.
