And I must admit that I'm not usually given to conspiracy theories... but I think a global media empire that has taken a very public hammering recently over "hacking" has seen an opportunity to create an alternative national scandal to attack a rival media empire and divert attention. I know there have been one or two serious allegations, but generally I don't think that the fact that grown men were having sex with 17 year old girls 40-odd years ago is news.

Right, I'm off to start a new coffee plantation on the old British Steel site at Port Talbot. Who's with me?

It's probably just that missing £6m that rallyboy's been searching for.
-
But if he doesn't he might be liable to make up the difference to Chinny out of his own pocket. That's why this is going to Court before the sale.
-
Just to be clear nobody will liquidate them after the Court case. The Judge WILL decide on more than £2.75m. The PDT will either agree to pay the higher price or not. If it does then it makes it even harder for the club to buy the ground back from him before the option expires. And if it doesn't then the biggest bestest fan buyout in the whole world, ever, will fail & Birch will sell the club to somebody else.

But not Carlisle?

Chinny also controls the £10.5m unsecured debt to CSI

Am I right in thinking that the Court case is about security rather than debt? If so then wouldn't the result be to move a portion of Portpin's debt from "secured" to "unsecured"? If the portion is significantly large, causing a major change to the make-up of the creditor groups that voted on the previous CVA proposals, could that invalidate those proposals and require a new CVA vote? One in which Chainrai would control more than £20m of unsecured debt?

Leave it as it is, then we can stick him on the "Nasty German drivers we don't like" shelf to keep Schumacher company. -

There's the problem in a nutshell. I agree with the first highlight - alcohol abuse is a problem. But the proposed solution is to reduce alcohol consumption. Alcohol consumption isn't the problem, abuse is. Why not tackle alcohol abuse instead?

I think you already found them

I'd like to se QPR & Reading lose. And Villa And Sunderland I think I'm gonna be disappointed

Could be a real humdinger the day after the Court case. I wonder if Santa's factored in paying rent to Chinny for the day?

...and everybody knows that players get a big lift from playing in a packed stadium week in week out. Any stadium with a capacity of around 5,000 will do.

I'm looking forward to his reports from Court next month, when Portpin's counsel suggests that FP should be valued on the "bust" basis.
