Go and get a job at the BBC. You'll be fine then.

Why was Dennis wearing Osman's shorts at half time?

'Coz they've got valuations. Real ones, three of 'em, written on proper paper an' all.

Ramirez & Clyne are both 21

Who wants to be beating Barcelona anyway, when you could be warming the bench at the mighty Pompey?
-
I'm not really up on these things, still using a 10 year old Nokia, but hutch jr. is looking for a new phone for christmas. Would it be fair to say that this Nexus 4 is a direct competitor for the Galaxy S3?

Judging by the comments starting to appear on the News, it looks as if we're going to have to send in an extraction team for one of our agents:

I'm surprised we let this one from earlier in the week slip under the radar: Can't see why the prospectus is taking so long. They've only had 9 months. Give them a chance, it's not as if there are any problems or anything, is it? And it's perfectly reasonable for a keen fan of another club to want to chip in and buy them. It's not as if he develops property in his spare time or anything, is it? So, for a measly grand, you get to not own the park or have any say in the running of the club, but you do get to vote for the fanontheboard who might actually support Pompey. Well they did promise us a ground breaking new role model for the future of fan ownership of football clubs, so in that respect they haven't let us down.
-
... all of which is only made possible because that nice Mr. Chainrai has decided to throw in the towel & walk away without a peep.
-
OK I'll have a go: Don't worry Appy, I don't think fans from any other clubs will want to join your board.
-
It'll be somebody who's dead, obviously. It's amazing how many column inches you can fill with sensationalist allegations against somebody who can't sue you.
-
Just to help 'Appy out, here's the number for Barcelona: +34 93 902 189900 Ask for Lionel.

Any attempt by the FL to waive any of the previously notified golden share conditions for one purchaser, but not the other(s) would, IMHO, leave them terribly exposed.
-
I heard he's gone to POL for a month on non-contract terms. Apparently they're paying him a bigger wedge than us.
-
Now where did I put that prospectus? I had it in my hand a minute ago, it must be here somewhere. If I don't publish it soon, folk will start thinking I haven't really got one.
-
A quick word with the FL should get it sorted. How the hell do they expect Pompey to be competitive if they let other clubs come and take their own players back willy nilly. FFS.
-
I wonder if he'll need the PST to approve the replacement? Maybe a poll on the News website? Or a show of hands at the next home game. Best to start off with a HCDAJFT thread on POL.

Takes me back to Dave Trotter at Barton Peveril in '72. If only we'd really known what was going on in that Hotel

No roll call yet? I'll stick my hand up. 1976 for about 6 months - on the engine line (fitting starter motors, speedo drives & sundry cables & stuff) -
Tucked away in "The Midhurst & Petworth Observer" Best leave the sums to somebody else, eh Appy. That's about £1,600 a week average take home for a first team squad of 20. It's a lot less than you're paying now. * based on 90% of budget going to first team players and 30% total decuctions for PAYE & NI

Simple solution would be to insist they have an "instant recall" clause in any agreement to loan players out. Then if they ask for permission to bring any players in on loan, the answer is "sure, just recall your own loan players first, then give us a call" Play them at their own game. "Any rule you can bend I can bend further"
-
I don't believe any of this. It can't be true. Do SFC really allow women into SMS on corporate functions? Cortese out. FFS

Rickie on the bench? **** it, I've had enough, Adkins out.

Tbf if he's only gonna play 60, I prefer the last 60 than the first 60 -
The only way I can see that one working is if their new-found friends aren't putting in equity, but are in fact lending them money to pay off Chinny, secured against something.
-
Can you let us know how that "community run club" thing works. If it works out, the PST will be a minority stake holder in a consortium which owns the club. Depending on take-up of pledges, probably between 20% & 30% ownership, but could be a lot less if the senior partners have to pay Chinny more for the ground. Obviously the "prospectus" is still top secret stuff, but if it ever comes out, I expect we'll see that the PST doesn't own the club, but does own some shares in a company that does own the club.
