That's just the kind of guarantee to fulfill their fixtures that the FL are looking for.
-
Isn't it a bit like watching an old Norman Wisdom film, where everybody except poor Norman can see the manhole with the missing cover?
-
Quotes I've seen say that Birch has given Appleton the green light to make the signings, for whatever that's worth.
-
Or maybe, just maybe Birch is trying to bluster the FL that everything is really hunky dory down at Fratton Park since Chainrai walked, and they've got absolutely nothing to worry about.
-
So let me just make sure I've got this right. Today's plan is that eight ex-players who have now left the club should donate double the amount pledged by ALL the fans, ALL the wannabe associate directors AND ALL the Ultra High Net Worth individuals combined.
-
Or did something else happen recently which made liquidation a better option for Chainrai, and this situation has been created to facilitate that? Don't ignore Ben Haim's roots and the origin of the business relationship (some call it a dispute) between Chainrai & Gaydamak.

There's the reason right there:
-
I would expect at least half a million of those fees to be disbursements to other experts - various lawyers, independent valuers & the like.
-
And so say all of us
-
But, to be fair, I'm sure it sold a lot more season tickets.

I'm sure you'll be surprised to find out that no, he doesn't. As usual he's talking out of his a*se. Firstly, as a No-Contract payer, there's nothing to rip up, and secondly the player registration can only be terminated by mutual consent of both Parties. Oh, and it's not a month, registration is for the whole season (unless mutual termination is agreed). It does beg the question of Westwood's eligibility. We only have 'Appy's word on that, and poor old 'Appy's not good with facts, is he?
-
Not really, but he should at least have time for a bit of a holiday and some R and R before they need an Administrator again.
-
No, he has to pay the U18 & U21 squads out of that as well. I reckon he's looking at an average nearer £1,000 per week with a cap of £1,500 for the "stars".

Yes and no, IMHO. I haven't got time to re-read the rules, but from memory what they say is that if a club suffers an insolvency event (admin is an insolvency event) then they automatically get kicked out (=golden share withdrawn). HOWEVER, the league, at it's sole discretion, can allow a club to continue provided that it agrees to some sanctions (principally a points deduction and an embargo, but there might be others). So during admin they have no automatic right to keep the golden share, but do so at the league's discretion. The league must have serious reservations about letting them start without an owner, and with a "squad" of "pay-as-you-play" wannabees. I genuinely expect the "additional support" to be consent to a postponement (or 2) at most if they don't sort out the ownership this week.
-
I read it more as "We're also begging the Football League to let us keep our golden share for a while longer, on the offchance that we might get an owner sometime soon" But I don't speak Skate too well, so it might not be word for word.

Coz, apparently, it's £69.70 2nd class return on the train, and Chinny says that's over his budget
-
That depends on how much more of the PP's Birch has used up with player compromise agreements in the last few weeks. Remember £8.5m of the PP's was already committed to football creditors up to end June, according to Birch's CVA proposal, so there's not a lot left. The real question is what is happening with the admin of Gaydamak's land. That land would be a lot more valuable without football at FP. FP is the queen in that game, PFC is only an expendable pawn.
-
Doesn't it get distributed amongst the secured creditors first until they're paid in full before it goes to the unsecured creditors? And isn't Chainrai the only secured creditor? So won't he get it all, less expenses?
-
Nope, we've replaced him with Guly on the bench
-
It's hardly coincidence that most these days get caught for banned diuretics, which they take to flush the offending substances out of their system
-
Nope, they need 472% of the pledges to be honoured
-
Didn't he tell you the same thing about Forecast?
-
I really can't see how it could be in Chainrai's interest to have a football team playing at Fratton Park if he manages to snap up the "Gaydamak" land from the administrator of Miland Development (2004) ltd.

Eerie silence from PKF following the PST press conference.
