  1. The reason we do not already have one foot in the division above is our first four home games. Two points. Even if we had collected a paltry 6 points from our first four home games everyone (well nearly) would be completely confident of us going up.
  2. TBF, I think that is what we are trying to do. Good idea all the same though.
  3. No, it's exactly the point. This is a thread about form. Therefore it is going to involve looking at form.
  4. So that's 1.75 ppg away average. 2.5 ppg home average. If that is maintained: 12.25 points away from 7 games to play + 17.5 points from 7 home games. Lets's call it 17 and 12. 29 more points. That would give us 84. We would be pretty unlucky not to go up with that but it could be close. Just goes to show that home form is still key though. If we can win all 7 home games then our current away form would see us end with nigh on 90 points.
  5. Not really.
  6. At the end of the day, Blair will take some beating as the biggest, shiniest most bulbous bellend that most people ever did see (and before anyone gets excited, this is not meant as a slur on socialists; I fully except that the Labour party is a strange, opportunistic, populist party with no principles at all).
  7. Cameron may well be a bellend for promoting a *** to the House of Lords but then that would make pretty much every PM ever a bellend (which may be the case).
  8. Most stuff in the Top 40 is infinitely more offensive.
  9. Agreed. For the purpose of an comedy act that will go down well.
  10. TBF, I've just Wiki'd Spitting Image and it turns out Dune was responsible for most of the best bits.
  11. LOL!!! You should do observational comedy. When you do, can you suggest that George Bush isn't all that bright and that William Hague is funny sounding (and looking)? People will love it!
  12. If you say so!
  13. I can't take the credit for that one!
  14. I have nothing against people who are left of centre who are not enormous hypocrites. It might surprise you to learn that I have never voted Tory in my life.
  15. I thought he had a good day. As usual there seemed to be an edict not to give any fouls for challenges on him but he still won his fair share of headers and played a couple of good incisive passes. He retains possession superbly. If he had a bit of pace he would be playing in the Premier League. He still doesn't seem to be quite the same play as last season for some reason but he did contribute much yesterday.
  16. Have to say, fair play to the ref. Kept things as calm as he could have done there. Carragher and Rafael should've probably both been sent off but at least he was consistent! If he had sent off one but not the other there would've been an injustice.
  17. Eh?
  18. And here's another ruck...
  19. ps. Suaraez is nearly as good as Antonio and Mackail-Smith.
  20. Should be a good second half. Starting to heat up. Carragher should've just been sent off and Nani is being an uber-****.
  21. Hello mate! I hear the logistics emails have started flowing - I will have access to my usual email again soon so will be in the loop. Looking forward to it. Been practising my press-ups.
  22. He was deputy PM and would frequently represent us on the world stage whilst Blair was off holidaying with Mubarak or Berlusconi (or didn't you know that?).
  23. If you open a post with that first sentence then anything else you say is going to be tainted by the perception that you are a sad idiot. Which is a shame.
  24. Please don't. It still beggars belief.
  25. If we go up and they don't then I would imagine there is a reasonable likelihood of that.
