He is a ****e pundit though.
-
Rusty to begin with but clearly a decent player and looks ****ing hard!
-
Yeah sure, I just mean that without him we wouldn't have been able to shake up CM to such good effect.
-
This match highlighted how much we need to keep him, or at least bring someone else in, as Schneiderlin was awful. Hammond did an excellent job trying to run the midfield on his own but once Chapters came on we were far better.
-
Exactly right, spot on.
-
FFS, we just beat a fired up team away 3-1 and yet you still get people on here demanding change and singling out people for criticism unfairly. Have we won 5 out of the last 6 or something? Unbelievable. For the record, Puncheon played well yesterday. Our worst performers were Lambert and Schneiderlin, who was awful.

I have no difficulty imagining that at all. Still no excuse for poor table manners though And it's not necessarily irrational is it? Sometimes appearance will tell you a lot. It might, in certain circumstances, be rational to act on what it tells you and it others it might be rational to ignore what it tells you.

It is indeed a very tricky issue. Some crimes are so awful that you feel there can be little complaining about carrying out an execution but I can't imagine anything much worse than being condemned when innocent.
-
The first paragraph just doesn't stack up. All crimes are proven "beyond reasonable doubt". But putting that choice of wording aside we could say instead, "those crimes where there is no doubt whatsoever that the crime happened, where we can all be happy that there is no miscarriage of justice". The challenge then is to write down what the test will be for establishing that. How it will be determined in practice whether the criteria are met. If you can't do that in such a way that will never result in a case on the boundaries, in shades of grey, then you must accept that there is always a risk of executing an innocent person.
-
But isn't the same true of any custodial sentence, or indeed any judicial process? If it is true that the amount of money you have has a bearing on what we might call your "judicial success" then the same logic can be applied to the application of any sentence.
-
Doubt very much that it is him. I spoke with Franny a few weeks ago and he seems to be a very nice guy. Whatever his personal feelings about our club at the moment I can't see him depositing these little rant-droppings on here.
-
I disagree with the death penalty too but I don't understand the logic of your first reason. It's not a reason to oppose the death penalty at all. If you believe the death penalty is "right" then the mere fact that some people might be able to buy their way out of it shouldn't stop it being applied to those that deserve it and can't buy their way out of it. Better to execute only relatively poor people than no people at all; if it is deserved.
-
Exactly. Well done Boj.
-
There is no absurdity at all. You are saying: "I am the sort of person who will make an effort, who will fit your organisation. I have had a decent upbringing and am not a silly little jump-start with pompous delusions of trailblazing who will embarrass you in front of all you consider to be important."
-
Utter rubbish.
-
Urgh, you brute. I'm glad I don't know you.
-
That's the rub. Forget the embarrassing backtracking [Noodles and Frankfurters all round!] and faux[actually it is probably genuine, if monumentally misguided]-smugness, the guy is clearly a completely unpleasant individual.
-
So, 'Ho just to confirm your position on this: You weren't cheating because you were acting criminally? Is that the gist, yeah?
-
I don't doubt he has the ability as he looks bloody good but if we're going to play someone other than Guly behind the striker then I'd rather it was Lallana. Why change anything unnecessarily? Our current form is good and he can be a match winning impact player if needed.
-
No, no, no. Sub, coming on the wing if needed.
-
Good rant.
-
Absolutely. It would still only be a worthwhile investment for someone: a) with a desperate need for publicity; b) bottomless pockets; c) some other "unconventional" reason. There is no reason why (b) would buy them so they will either get (a) or © again which would not lead to a sustainable PFC in the Prem and they would be back to square one in no time. Their best hope, and it would be a great outcome, is that someone sensible gets hold of them for a fairly modest amount and tries to run them like a West Brom or Wolves.
