  1. I doubt very much that this post is correct. Nonetheless, I am still strangely optimistic.
  2. So, let me get this straight, are you for or against Hoddle?
  3. I heard a small crowd of people were targeted with top-secret "mind bullets".
  4. I love my Fred. At half-time in the Cardiff match I sent a text to some of my mates who hadn't gone.... it said something like "We're actually playing really well. Certainly deserve something. If the youngsters can maintain this we'll be fine this season" GO me! In fairness, I had assumed that we would get better as the players adapted to competitive league footy. I also assumed the manager would have the nouse to change things if needed. Sadly I was wrong. Still, was a good day. Looking forward to some of the aways next year.
  5. When you say enormous, what do you mean? Surely not more than £20-ish million?
  6. If you replace a wooden house, plank by plank as required through wear and tear etc and eventually after many years you have a house made out of entirely new materials to the original, do you still have the same house? I guess, anyone would say it's the "same house" but it probably feels a bit different now. Bit of a strange question but this sort of illustrates how I would fell if Lowe gained control of Saints again. It wouldn't be the same club I supported as a nipper. It might have the same ground, the same kit, the same name, but something would be missing. So for me the question, of no club or a club with Lowe doesn't really make sense as they're virtually the same thing.
  7. Agreed - I've never seen a ref run that fast in my life. He left his linos trailing (not surprising seeing as they both looked about 65). I thought the decision to blow up at that point was terrible too. Seemed like he just thought "meh, I've had enough of this now, let's blow up".
  8. I think, all things considered, it's probably not for the best.
  9. Quite a funny thread spoilt by the illiterate Saint towards the end.
  10. I have to say, I did wonder if the mongs in front of me were from sort of scheme. It's the bum-fluff and the cigarette that's the typical give-away.
  11. How much polyester do you own? Are you Sarfamptin til you doiy? Have you thumped anyone this season? Until we know the answers to these, you can't be considered I'm afraid.
  12. This is nothing to do with "fanbase". This is everthing to do with justified revulsion at the pig-ignorant morons that people in this country are forced to live amongst.
  13. Yeah, they are terrible people. If I had to chose between: a) violent pathetic sad men with nothing to offer apart from their waste-of-space progeny; and b) people who take an opportunity to star-gaze at some of the world's best footballers; then clearly it's b) that are the scum. Scum.
  14. "On the pitch" started long before the dogs appeared. I think the dogs were a mistake and shouldn't have been deployed at that point, as it was obvious there would be a pitch invasion regardless. The Plod should have congregated aroubd the Burnely fans to ward of the thick idiots who thought it would be funny to run over there. Regardless of the Plod's errors or otherwise, I have nothing but contempt for the pathetic, mostly spineless, leeches that ran over there (and back again - pathetic ****s). You are ****.
  15. I've spent loads of money in Tesco in the past years so I've no doubt they will be more than happy when I ransack the place next week. Thick ****s.
  16. Fish AIDS?
  17. --------------???-------------- ????----Perry----Thomas------Mills Thomson----James---Gillet-----Holmes --------McG-------????? Might look something like that I reckon (although I imagine there will be interest in McGoldrick). I think McClaggon will get plenty of opportunities. TBH, until we know the scale of the owner's (assuming there is one) ambitions it's hard to say, but that team with the addition of a couple of experienced players would do ok IMO.
  18. We're absolutely fine. I can't believe the amount of people willing to lay into the fans. Look at some of the crummy little clubs in the Premier League. Southampton is a relatively small city with approx 230,000 people. When we have a resonable product at a resonable price, our gate is usually around or over 10% of the city's population. When we are in the Prem it is higher than that. Compare this with a club like Birmingham City, Hull, Middlesbrough, Cardiff.... etc If any of those were in our position they'd get about 10,000, and there's plenty more you can add to that (such as the Blue Few). Our away support is also good considering the aggregate distance we have to travel. We have good support. Fact.
  19. Just crappy journalism IMO.
  20. Fry said that yesterday innit.
  21. Is it softer than the SMS bog roll?
  22. I've always disliked Leciester and found their support to be a bunch of moribund imbeciles. I wish Nigel Pearson success. I'm sure he will find it elsewhere.
  23. Looks like I was right.
