In a normal market, I would say McGoldrick is worth £1,500,000 bare minimum. He's a much more impressive player than Best or Blackstock and both of those were worth around £750,000 I think? If we need the money desperately, then clearly we will probably have to undersell people. However, it's all academic to speculate on transfers really - until we get new owners there will be no activity. With any luck the new owners will have enough clout not to have to sell everyone.
