Yes, quite. There are so many reasons why Crouch clearly wasn't trying to say the PLC was set up with the forethought of administration writ large on its conscience. I think I may have said something similar towards the start of this thread but it seems to have been not rabid enough to have been noteworthy!

Didn't stop him this season.

I presume some numpty told you it was Lord Marland? -
There's a tomato-faced chap in a pastel blazer. Tie, small knot. Main stand, near the middle. Nowt but a trouble maker.

I think he actually may have some sort of mental problem. -
12 noon kick-off? That's gash.

I only asked for a modest €40,000,000. Seems fair.

That's what I'm trying to find out! I haven't got one. I wonder if the Monaco Echo is running a story about the strange emails being received from England?
-
No, you're not! Has anyone had a reply? Even a non-plussed Galic shrug?

No "anonymous" letters for their shareholders then. Wonder if they were disappointed?

How on earth have Stockport exploited anything? I'm sure they'd rather not be in admin. What possible advantage have they gained? In this case, the rules have been applied. Simple as that. The rules might be stupid but I don't think Stockport have exploited anything. EDIT: Sorry - you said "exposed" which I misread as "exploited" for some reason.

What I find most interesting from that is that we had a lower wage bill than both Charlton and Norwich last year. Norwich are absolutely dependent on continual investment from Dehlia and Charlton had to raise £14.7m from shareholders and directors. Yet we are stuffed because our investment = 0.

Is Fry's autobiography out yet? Will he be signing it in the club shop? I need to know this.
-
Yeah, so they'll cut their losses if they think that (they might actually think that Lowe's return will not be such a big deal). They won't support an amateur team.
-
Yeah, come on mods. That first one was funny and Super Stan isn't bothered by it. Can we have a "pic off"? Please.

Haha. Look, Lowe is a useless *** and I would seriously question whether I could be arsed to continue supporting Saints whilst he was involved but there is not a hope in hell of a merry brigade of fans being preferred to Lowe and chums (by the people who matter) if they have a few quid with them.

That post says that Lowe personally asked Forest for a ticket. How you get from that to "Lowe is Fry's 'favourite'", is anyone's guess. -

Aboslutely. "Saints", as we knew it ceased to be when it was placed into the hands of insolvency practitioners. (Arguably it ceased the day a decent young manager was replaced by a ludicrous block-headed experiment.... but let's not go down that road now). We now have a chance to return it to what I and I suspect many others grew to love. If that doesn't happen then so be it but there really is no logic in saying we all have to support it in whatever guise for all eternity. If it stinks (and I mean ideologically or morally, not on the pitch) then I will leave it. -
Does Ted Bates trump Mark Fry? Is Cosimo Sarli the Ace of Spades?

I expect the point she was making was that Barclays have security over the farm, therefore you can't just sell it to anyone you feel like. Barclays would have to consent to its sale.

If we win the appeal, will our legal advisors be up there with Matt Le Tiss?
