Cheers. I guess it's a question of funds, in terms of what we do in that position. I'd rather sign a quality player at CB and CM than two average ones plus an LB cover.
-
I didn't see the game - how did Vokins do? Do we need to sign an LB so we aren't completely reliant on Bertrand or is he a valid contender?
-
This is a problem in home games, certainly. Less of an issue away. I think what we really need is a Boufal-type to play off Ings in home games against teams we "should beat". If Djenepo was fit then perhaps he or Redmond could play that role for a bit.

WTF? A coordinated response to a pandemic is apparently not federal government business but something incomprehensible about dishwashers and shower heads is.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

We need improvement at centre back, not cover. Anyway, sounds like we are signing Salisu so I doubt we are interested in Mings. -
In what way is assessing the financial impact of the new red tape, "raking over old coals"? It is entirely germane to assessing the credibility and performance of those who wanted to push Brexit on the back of premises which are challenged by the same impacts. This is a subject relevant to the whole State.

Yawn*

If they want fair play then introduce a salary cap and a transfer fee limit. But they don’t want fair play, they just don’t want the embarrassment of insolvencies.
-
Good point!

Try watching the build up to the first. Stephens and Bednarek are far too wide on the other side covering no one and leaving KWP with two to cover. He should have been screaming at Stephens to drift right.
-
Why did Prowsey try to bum him?
-
KWP and Stephens weak again.
-
The whole back 4 was a mess. KWP had 2 players because Stephens and Bednarek had drifted too far over and were too deep. It was that way for about 5 seconds but no one sorted it.
-
We'll never get anywhere with this back 4.

Well everyone has a different view on what their favourite everyday gun is. Horses for courses.

Not specifically Trump related, but honestly... #mess

Are you Richard Madeley? Either way, I vote for you to commentate on the Olympics.

It's probably the company that Kat uses to hold her shares. Not really part of the SFC group any more.

The second of 4 games in 11 days. And the third and fourth look much more winnable. I would make a few changes for this one normally but seeing as we aren’t really playing for anything do we just go with the same guys, providing they are not getting over exposed to injury?

I think that’s mostly amortisation of contracts plus net transfer spend. Usually when we have people on expensive long term contracts we sell them after a couple of years. Now we have players on expensive long term contracts that no one wants so they represent a significant write off each year and they don’t get sold to offset our spending. Frankly, we’d be mad to turn down any half decent bid for Hojbjerg. I guess the contract extension for Long is a decent sign of confidence though. With three other strikers on the books plus Redmond capable of doing a job further forward we could have easily let him go.

I think so. I’m not sure! I guess we just have to be thankful Mason didn’t whip out the red in the first place. We usually get hard done by when he’s the ref so I’m surprised he didn’t. He must have had serious doubts whether it was a foul.
-
But he’s not allowed to? That’s on the PL for having a weird system. I agree that the monitor should be used.

Trump is also unlikely to accept the result if he loses. He will allege voting fraud, interference etc. and refuse to vacate the office.
