  1. The only people who thought that are a bit special. HTH.
  2. I wouldn't make a one-off donation as it seems entirely pointless (unless the donation is circa £15,000,000-20,000,000).
  3. This one, IMO: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12296

    Good News!!

I actually think Forest will be safe by the time we play them and if we can beat Burnley we will have a great chance of staying up. I just can't see us doing a job on Burnley. Probably because I've been to loads of matches this season and I've only seen us win once. In the Cup. The Mickey Mouse Cup. In August.

    Good News!!

I'm sure, like most people, that the reason I'm going on Saturday is out of some macabre sense of loyalty and with little to no expectation of anything good coming of it.
  8. The Valley Slags? Perhaps we could get some skates/local ne'erdowells along for a goading?
  9. The argument, in a nutshell is that we wasted money on a load of ****e and would have been better off spending a fraction of that on Nigel Pearson. It's really quite simple. We also should have sold some players in January it seems but the revisionists don't seem able to accept that either.

Shark by a massive country mile. Seriously, it's beautiful. Doubt you will get any decent shark though. Is your BBQ in south east Asia?
  11. Can I congratulate all users of this thread for not writing "Stephen Hawkings". It ****es me off when people do that. Seriously, it ****s me off.
  12. It is indeed, utter gash.
  13. Anyone who genuinely believes this is thick or deliberately blinkered. I can't be bothered to explain why in detail, as it is obvious to all but the aforementioned thick and blinkered. Neverthless by way of one obvious example. Morgan Schneiderlin need not have been signed. Case closed.
  14. Of course I can realise other people have a different point of view but when they are, reasonably, intelligent and post utter nonsense purely because of some odd emotional attachment to a deranged little Napoleon figure they deserve to be mocked. As for your point, if you honestly think a bit more money would have stopped Lowe from coming in and acting like a power-crazed Onan then you can join the illustrious previous poster in Mongdom.
  15. Given Princess Anne's interest in acquiring Southampton Football Club, I would appreciate it if someone would update this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Anne thanks.
  16. What an utter mong.
  17. Princess Anne can sod right off. She knows even less about football than Rupert! If this is true I am astounded. What on earth is the administrator thinking? I'd rather have Souness, Rod Stewart or Cosimo Sarli any day.
  18. Or maybe the interested party knows better than to spill details to an unconnected individual who is a regular poster on a public forum?
  19. Maybe he's trying to sell them some chamois leathers or impart hairdressing tips or some such.
  20. LOL - why the **** would Pompey want to sign David Prutton?! If he is in talks with Portsmouth then presumably he wants a job as a steward or something.
  21. But it's so much more fun when it's a photocopier salesman or a badly-dressed, offensive, loud-mouthed, fat-head doing it.
  22. Quite. It always amazes me that, given the ****e we've had to endure in the past, people still want these things played out in the public.
  23. I agree with you. I was just under the impression that there was sod-all chance of getting to July 1st without having been taken over!!
  24. Chris Makin was pretty good IMO.
  25. Jesus Christ. There's no wonder so many threads descend into endless nonsense on here when the level of factual awareness of so many is so low. "Crouch gave Burley money to spend" This debate is so boring now. I don't know why it needs to be had as there are only about five individuals on this entire board that don't view Lowe as an utter failure. Yes, clearly others failed as well but none so often and so spectacularly as that buffoon. Here's a thought for those who like to pin the majority of the cause for our current embarassment on the two years when Lowe was away: Wilde's board spent a lot of money. They buggered up the finances to the point where we were not viable in the long-run. They did something about it. They did something that no other board has managed to do. They attracted investment. They were poo-pooed by the shareholders. They left. All major shareholders are to blame for this shambles but one stands head and shoulders above the others when it comes to abysmal management that has had a direct measurable effect on the pitiful shower of **** on the field.
