The event at Waterstone's this evening was well attended. Terry looked well (and smiled a lot, Charlie) and talked about his time at Saints/South Africa and football then and now. He answered questions from the floor and then signed many copies of his book. Enjoyable.

Wow, this is a first! First time I have disagreed with you, CW. Did Terry sell you some stringy beans or mushrooms that were too small? As for cashing in etc, did you write the same about all the other ex Saints players and old memories in print? I shall part with my £19.95 for his book and tell myself that it is the best spend for ages! I shall be there on Monday and shall be taking my grandson, to introduce him to one of the ex Saints players that put a smile on my face every game.

Exactly how I feel! He gives the team a geeup, fans call for his blood! He sits in the stand and gives the dressing room a miss, fans call for his blood because he's 'aloof' etc. No win. Loook, I don't give a stuff for names (The board etc) I've supported the Saints for 52 years now and if ever we need to support the team, it's NOW! That's why I went last night. I wasn't going to but we need to forget the politics and think team.
