They are all Argentinian, with great hair and initials MP. Sadly he'll take his secret dossier to his grave with him.

I didn't vote because I've been on the fence. He's kept us up for several seasons with an inadequate squad. But today was the last straw. The Villa match was an abomination, and today not much better against a terrible Everton team. He has to go.
-
They cost Hants the title last year too. It's a shame their very good bowling has been undone by their very poor top order.

Hmmm, January window and desperate for a striker. Monaco et al are licking their lips! -
All true, but scary to think it wouldn't be if the Orange Turd had managed to steal the last election.
-
Last year it was painful losing the championship by 1 wicket. At least this year not so much, it's probably not going to be close at the end. Well done Surrey.

Yes but Romeu’s legs were no longer up to the PL, plus the club didn’t want to stand in his way. But we’re in agreement that we’re a DM short. As you say we can’t rely on an 18 year old by himself.
-
It’s not so much as letting Romeu leave but rather not getting another DM in along with Lavia. Hopefully in January they can bring someone in. Should be not quite as difficult as finding a goal scorer (which we also desperately need of course).
-
Yes, but were they laughing with you or at you?

Apart from no relegation <grin> there is one other Americanization <sic> that I would like, and I think this has come up before when we’ve complained about time wasting with fake injuries, and big clubs getting Fergie time if not winning. Have the clock stop when the ball is not in play. Have the match exactly 60 minutes long (which is roughly how much time it’s usually in play) and stop it for injuries and other stoppages. As long as they don’t deliberately pause play for bloody adverts of course.

Well some do like the excitement of rock climbing without ropes! 30+ years ago relegation for a club our size wasn't a disaster. 20 years ago it nearly was (we got lucky). Now it would probably be catastrophic.
-
It does seem rather predictable, doesn't it? Let's hope Ralph and the boys surprise us.
-
Yes please. As long as Saints are one of the permanent 20.

This myth about him continues to baffle me. Apart from a couple of 1 horse races in France with a team costing about a billion more than anyone else there, he's won the square root of fuck all, and been sacked twice because of it. And wanting him back is like wanting your ex girlfriend back who dumped you for a rich bastard, and who then ending up dumping her, but was lucky enough to find an even richer bastard, who then dumped her too. And you'd know she would dump you again the instant another semi-rich bastard showed any interest in her.

I think our awful slow clueless build up has a lot do do with players knowing there is no one very capable up front to pass to. -

You are assuming I presume no civilisation-ending asteroids, CMEs or Putin nukes. -
There have been worse overall Saints performances (the Leicester one as an obvious example), because today we weren't shit defensively. But attacking-wise I can't remember anything this bad, it was beyond appalling.

Starting XI: Bazunu, Walker-Peters, Bella-Kotchap, Salisu, Perraud, Diallo, Ward-Prowse [c], Elyounoussi, Djenepo, Adams, A. Armstrong. Subs: McCarthy, Larios, Lyanco, Ćaleta-Car, S. Armstrong, Aribo, Edozie, Mara, Walcott. <sigh>
-
Yes, they go up every odd numbered year, and down in an even numbered one. And Fulham do it the other way around.
-
In fairness, it's calling for Djenepo over a tub of lard.

From Wiki: If any sides have equal points, tie-breakers are applied in the following order: most wins, fewest losses, team achieving most points in contests between teams level on points, most wickets taken, most runs scored. Having said that I doubt Hants can catch Surrey if as expected they beat Northants tomorrow.

Bangers. It's hard to get decent ones here in San Diego.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool

I doubt City would've sold him to us without the low buy back. Basically a nice loan deal, where we enjoy him for a few seasons and make a bit of money at the end of it, rather than paying a non-refundable loan fee for him. Can't complain! -
King Charles thanks you!
