No point in having a scan, since according to @jamesfp1 he's out for the season.
-
Arsenal, yes. But after that Port Vale and Leeds shouldn't be too difficult.

Russell Martin strongly backed Gavin Bazunu in August 2023, stating he believed the Irish goalkeeper would be "one of the best" in the Championship. Martin told a fans' forum that Bazunu was his number one and predicted he would be "one of the best goalkeepers in the division". Martin described him as a massive asset and praised his courage, stating that if he were looking for a goalkeeper, he would pick Bazunu. While Bazunu had a challenging first Premier League season, Martin credited his "incredible" intensity and ability to play out from the back, as noted in reports from Daily Echo. Corrected for you. 😉

If we had started the season with Peretz and Larin…
Dark Munster replied to Toussaint's topic in The Saints
+ Will Still and Damion Downs. So that's at least 5 major blunders (thank you Spors and Rasmus). Given those handicaps for a quarter to half the season it's amazing we are in with a chance of the playoffs. -
A lunatics approach has been Rasmus having influence on transfers.
-
Not really, don’t forget about Norwich.
-
Lol! The songs for him write themselves if he signs for a UK team. If he ever does he'd be well-advised to follow in the footsteps of the players who go by their first names.
-
Going above walking pace was not his forte at Saints.

Bodø is my favourite team in the CL, they are doing brilliantly. Glimt is my second favourite team, also doing equally brilliantly.
-
Larinnnnnn!
-
Saka will probably be rested. I hope.

Puel out!!!!!!
-
Pah! Three games at Wembley? That means he's given up on the autos.

What’s your unpopular opinion on Saints?
Dark Munster replied to Willo of Whiteley's topic in The Saints
Claude Puel was a decent manager who did extraordinarily well with a squad stripped of some of the best players, and should never have been sacked. -
I didn't say I expected more, I would've happily settled for 3-1 before the match. I was simply replying to the poster who said 6-0 would still only have been three points, and I pointed out that's true but it would be extra goal difference.
-
Two words: goal difference. But yes, 3 points is the main thing.
-
Two forward slashes if you look carefully!

Read my post again. Even in matches that don’t have unnecessary stoppages (like feigned injuries) the time the ball is in play is less than 90 minutes.
-
Agreed, but 45 minutes per half is too long. Have the clock set a bit shorter, since actual ball in play is shorter than that (ignoring unnecessary stoppages).

Saints 1-1 Charlton - Match Thread
Dark Munster replied to Golac's Cunning Stunts's topic in The Saints
Should be a period at the end of ”off”. -
I think you answered your own question there.

Same as us then. -
Is it too much to hope for a mass brawl, 10 players sent off, and both clubs deducted 3 points?
-
He can't do that, it's past their bedtime.

EFL to vote on extending the Championship playoffs
Dark Munster replied to badgerx16's topic in The Saints
It's a load of bollocks. Unless we finish 8th next season, in which case I'm all for it. No seriously, keep it as is with 3 to 6 in the playoffs, but reward the higher finishers by having 5th at home to 6th in a one match eliminator (extra time and penalties if necessary). Winner plays similar one-off away in next round against 4th, and winner of that plays 3rd at Wembley. Simples. Won't happen of course, far too logical and fair.
