Thanks Phil a good post I take your point I'm not applying my values in anyway. Let alone putting down or ignoring any other countries or other persons culture . I have experienced racism first hand when I was going out with an Indian girl, and up here because I'm English I have stood up against racists who have abused my ethnic friends and colleagues . I have lived in many parts of the world over the years and fully understand and integrate with different values and cultures . I total concur there should be at least a basic multi cultural charter . Maybe the UN could lead on this . We live in a troubled world and it's going to take some thing extraordinary to achieve such global initiatives .

I formally apologise for my op if it has offended folk . I was only gauging opinions on what had happened . I stated from the outset that I had not seen or heard any of the match reports and that my comments were in relation to what was reported in the independent . Whatever happened in Moscow it has sparked a debate re racism in football . Do you ban all fans . Do you suspend clubs from competing in competitions. Something needs to be done to eradicate not only racism but all forms of discrimination in sport and society . If certain fans are chanting monkey chants then then the only way to stop it . Is to ban the fans from attending for a number of games . It doesn't matter that clubs do their upmost to stop racist chants at the end of the day you can not stop a load of idiots chanting racist comments .

It appears that if a brit has been murdered abroad and relatives of the deceased or missing then the foramt is to blame the relevent police for their incompetence , throw a few libels claims at various folk to deflect the attention away from potential suspects and hey presto you might gat away with murder or abduction etc So far we have The French Police The Portugese Police The South African Police Meanwhile back in the UK you claim some loophole un the human rights act to get exonerated or blame the police in some other aspect of the investigation

Pap and aintforever re your comments on cadaver dogs. You mention shannon mathews , were the dogs that were used actual cadaver dogs or some search and rescue type dog. In the case of maddie. were the dogs being used just picking up the scent of her in order to carry out a search . hence the reason the dog went daft in the flat and the car. I would also question the use of the supposed cadaver dog so early as her body would not have decomposed so quickly although its possible with heat, How successful are these cadaver dogs as they search for the scent of human remains, detecting the smell of human decomposition gasses. Could the dogs have smelt something in the car which could well have been chicken for the bbq ? I still think the mccans have to take a portion of blame for maddie going missing. only time will tell how large a portion of blame that will be.
