Never been any doubt. Saints till I die Mike
-
I will buy a season ticket. I will not get to many games but quite happy to lend it to people for a small fee. maybe 50 0r 75% of the cost of a match ticket. I would go more often but with over £350 for an airfare from orkney to Southampton it is a tad expensive to keep coming down. So yes I will buy a season ticket if it will help the club

Question for those who were pro admin?
Viking Warrior replied to mynameisthehulk's topic in The Saints
Which Point was that Um. Trousers makes some valid points which i agree witn um. I quess the way I am feeling is a sense of relief now everything is in the open it wasnt so much the mess the club were in but so much negativity on this site. I am glad I stayed away for a few weeks Yes Im saddened at the mess the club are in but I think we will be ok in the long term even if it means playing in a lower division for a season or two -
Question for those who were pro admin?

Stanley stated thats what he wanted along with a couple of others I take it Stanley and Alpine are out celebrating the demise of their anti-christ or are they now seeking counselling as they have noone else to campaign to get rid of? -
Steve says the vehicle is in place the Saints Trust! I wouldnt trust the saints trust. A good mouth peice but nothing else. Also I take it the Saints Fans' Parliment has now been blown to smithereens
-
I think what Dubai Phil was trying to say in his drunken stuper last night was Pop goes the weasel send three and fourpence Hic

Well lowe and co may have gone and perhaps I should be elated sadly Im not I now of the belief southampton FC will now become extinct. Its all well and good people constantly harping on about lowe but I have not seen much evidence of the vocal minority indicating any form of coherent way forward. You may have ridden or was it the economic downturn who has got rid of the anti christ but there is nothing in its place just the devil with a huge grinon its face. I feel a tad sorry for Duncan no more books to be written on the history of southampton just a pamplet maybe. Sad sad days:(
-
Given that the really anti lowe brigade have got their wish now lowe is out the door. do you turn your attention to getting rid of wotte. or do you hope crouch comes back into the fold and does that for you? Just curious
-
I don't want crouch back at the club either Like duncan I want a clean sweep but its interesting some of those close to the crouch camp are now rearing their heads. Me suspects crouch is involved we re purchasing the club. I hope not if we do then we will be moving from one crisis to another. Oh I see Good old Dave Merrington spouting off. What ever did happen to his consortium and fulthorpes? Oh if its true that lowe is resigning tomorrow, then the really good news for us fans and the club. At the end of the day we are still in a bloody mess and it will be sometime before the spirit of southampton returns to the club.
-
A sad day but St Marco its easy to lay the blame at Lowe and wilde But the world financial melt down has a big say in what has happened. I think a number of other clubs will now follow suit, they were just waiting for the first club to put it head above the parapet. Oh and Crouch , hone and co are equally to blame if you look at last years accounts Still one at least one **** on here will be celebrating won't you stanley are you inviting your mate alpine round to share a bottle of cider?
-
My Source is a former newcastle player who still does staff at newk. I guess its common knowledge if its being reported on sky
-
Well Alan Shearer is not joining us. he's about to takeover at newcastle for the remainder of the season So thats one rumour put to bed
-
Well Stanley, now if what is being mentioned and its the end of lowe and wilde . will you return to watch saints or will you find a new crusade to vent your spleen on, you are one sad mother ****er
-
Oh the doom and gloom brigade are in a bad way For the record Stanley "You just have to look at how this forums activity has nosedived to see people are bored with Saints now. Its for comedians such as yourself that I rarely post on here these days nothing to do with the team I have just had my fill of all the doom and gloom merchants. If we go down we go down, I will still support Saints. I just hope ****s like you F*** Off So I can enjoy watching saints without you spouting your ****e all the time
-
**** Im going to sue him , he has discriminated against me, Im white but don't have blue eyes. Life is so unfair

Ah Gavin Henson A real muppet if there ever was one. So far up his own arse its unreal I suspect the reason he is knocking Woodward is probably something to do with the lions tour a couple of years ago when woodward and co ignore some of the welsh boys at the time . Henson was one of the vocal gob****es at the time lambasting SCW. Oh and the reason he is having ago at SCW is because his book is not selling well. so needs the crap about woodward and no doubt used his GF Charlotte Church to sell a few more copies. I see he had a **** poor performance against the irish last week

"Southampton dodge administration (for now)..."
Viking Warrior replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
St Robbie To a point I accept your argument. but surely your being too simplistic to blame the PLC for all our ills. Just supposing the PLC didnt happen all those years ago . do you really believe we would have moved from the Dell/ I don't think so. Revenues would be very tight on 15k of fans. we would certainly have been relegated from the premiership long before it actually happened. Its possible another sugar daddy would have come along and would have wanted some form of PLC infrastructure. As for the dividends that were given Well I have a couple of thousand shares. The first lot I bought were at £1.45. I purchased them not to make money but because I wanted to own a peice of the club I support and will always support. The 2nd lot was due to the share issue. I have not cashed in the dividends i recieved some while back. Now lets look at the big players in the shares. They were hooveriing up vast amount of shares a couple of years ago. They have lost an absolute fortune. So clearly they were not in it to make a fortune especially as the shares are now worth 12p So St robbie. if you are going to do justice to your argument then look at the whole picture and not the bits that portray shareholders as scavengers or vultures. If I wanted to make money I would have put it into a blue chip company not SLH -
Hamster sounds like your missus is about to divorce you Sadly and unfortunately technology has taken over from us men. hence the Ann Summers party. Ask her if she purchased the universal man vibrator. apparrently its ten times better that its predecessor the rabid rabbitt. or so my girlfriend tells me.

Watching the news from my sick bed. there has been a lot of news about the USA president undoing the last administration laws. if its not stem cell research it something else. His latest repeal of a law is that those nice terrorist boys can no longer be referred to as enemy combatants as it is offensive and goes against international laws. I understand the sentiments of what he is trying to do. but i would have thought there were far greater world issues to be getting on with rather thanrepealing all the old administration legislation. Bit like new labour who repealed loads of employment laws many tories but some labour party legislation I was hoping to see a more powerful leader emerge but so far I am not convinced obama is conspicuous by his absence. Even two jugs prescott is now blaming the conservatives ( black monday or when ever it was ) for to days finacial crisis. remind me how long has this labour pary been in administration now. Any way my point is I think the honeymoon period for obama is now over and he needs to be more prominent in his deciscion making instead of repealing soft touch legislation.

How the "locals" in Luton welcome home British soldiers
Viking Warrior replied to Mole's topic in The Lounge
i echo some of stus comments re being spat upon in ni. AS someone who also did 3 tours in NI as a medic i would take casualties to the altnagalvin hosp or musgrave pk hosp as british soldiers medics we were frequently sworn and spat at by catholic medic.s and nurses. while it was the norm on the streets it was something i did not expect to recieve in a hospital. ON a similar note our medics do not discriminate against patients in afghan or iraq. I didnt hear that bunch of muslim fanatics ackowledging that aspect of my collegues in afghan or iraq -
Krissy Boy and Duncan thanks for confirming that about Berkovitch His atitude was one of the reasons he was shipped out. I was doing an interview with the manager and woggy taylor during the summer when Berk turned up at the club with his two hench men wearing dark glasses. the three of them just barged into the interview demandin woggy went an got his boots he had left at the club. He had left the club some time previously. What an absolute C*** . I won't repeat what the others said apart from woggy telling them they would have to wait. Eyal Berk King of is-rael Bo*****S more like the W***er of the west bank:cool:

Who are the lawyers in ECHR. They have got no sense of justice. if its not given compensation to Qatada. its giving it to some other criminal What about for justice vistims The latest sick award for compensation goes to the following 5K compensation for doctor who sexually abused patients By Euan Stretch 10/02/2009 A decision to pay £5,263 in compensation to a medic jailed for sexually assaulting patients was yesterday branded "absurd". It was ruled that the human rights of Dr Imad Al-Khawaja, 52, were breached during his trial because he could not cross-examine one victim - who had committed suicide. Reacting to the verdict of the European Court of Human Rights, another victim said it was "a slap in the face for anyone whose trust was breached by this sick, vile individual". Hypnotherapist Al-Khawaja got 27 months in 2004 for indecently assaulting two women, one 20 and the other 47, at Brighton General Hospital. The 47-year-old, who had multiple sclerosis, made a police statement but killed herself before his case started. Al-Khawaja made a bid to get his convictions quashed, claiming he was denied a fair trial, but the Court of Appeal and House of Lords rejected it. Last month, the ECHR refused to overturn his convictions but ruled that his human rights had been breached - and awarded him £5,263 in compensation and £10,000 in legal costs. It said he had "inevitably suffered a degree of distress and anxiety". But Des Turner, Labour MP for Brighton Kemptown, fumed: "It defies rational explanation. It is an absurd ruling." Al-Khawaja was unavailable for comment yesterday.

Was Lowe a lot closer to being right than we give him credit for?
Viking Warrior replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Steve I don't want to git into an argument re the too many Ifs in my post Yes the total football could have succeeded but as football is results based and the results have shown in our case , in the short term anyway , it has not worked. Last year many on here were calling for youngsters to be given a chance as the older players were not cutting the mustard. Now we have a complete U turn by many calling for our experienced players to be in the starting line up. So many were slagging off Skacel, euell and even saga and I seem to recall that Perry and davies were equally slated. I don't want to go over old ground re lowe. He had a vison, that in theory sounded good but he didnt have an exit stratergy in place, just in case the kids were not ready to bring total football to the game for more than 45 minutes let alonne 95 minutes. Crouch and co who were in charge last season were equally culpable in managing the playing side of the club last year. They made an awful decision in appointing dodd and gorman when burley left. What we now need in my humble opinion is stability with the right manager in charge getting the best out of the players without boardroom interference. I hope Wotte is now up to the task. For the statisticians amongst you how is his record comparing with Pearson etc etc -
Was Lowe a lot closer to being right than we give him credit for?
Viking Warrior replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Anyone can have a vision , even Lowe. I have watched sainst a few times this season. I enjoyed the style of play Jan was encouraging, there were some sheer moments of exilirating football. but we were niave on occassions and gave away some silly goals. We could easily have thumped reading 4/5 nil at the majesdki stadium and a similar score and SMS. what were were lacking in these games was the nouse to shut up shop coupled with tiring young legs. we needed older heads to gee the youngster along If we had done that and closed the games , we would be in the top ten and not fighting a rear guard action. Just suppose we had being doing well and the total football concept had worked , I pretty sure there would be a number of posters still slagging off the team because of the lowe factor. Back to the question. Lowes vision. It was a brave vision and one I wanted to succeed. I think it would have succeeded eventually, but sadly we were giving to many sloppy goals away and the club had to change tact just to survive in this league. Some teams are no where as skilled as us and rely on very dour football , putting 11 players behind the ball in order to stifle good footballing sides and then get the lucky break and score against the odds. We can try and legislate for that type of opposition but it makes for ugly and boring football. As for the trousers conspiracy. I have heard that the FBI in an attempt to hack in to Jack Bauers mobile they accidentally hacked into Trouser's PC. Apparently the makers of 24 have said they now have enough information from Trousers PC to do 20 more series of 24:cool:
