Seems our ex player has allegedly been breaking betting laws Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock has been charged with "multiple breaches" of betting rules by the Football Association. FA rules say a player "shall not bet, either directly or indirectly" on matches involving themselves or their team as well as the competition they play in or have played in. Blackstock, 27, has until Monday, 28 April to respond to the charge. He played only three times for Forest this term before joining Leeds on loan. Blackstock was then ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury in December.

Sour , fair enough if Griffo was there . It's an odd discussion about whether our fans are noisy or quiet . It's one I cannot answer . I'm not as noisy as I used to be but I still join in . Maybe my advancing years has something to do with it . I go to the game to support the team and watch the football. Even if we are not the noisiest fans in the league . We still have a huge following going to away games . But we are not the worst set of fans when in comes to noise in the premiership I think we are in the top ten of fans support

Griffo . Were you there ? No I thought not I did my fair bit of chanting etc at villa . I also went the match to enjoy myself (as I am rose tinted happy chappie saints fan for many decades standing) and also cheer the team and sing songs etc I'm sorry I wasn't loud enough . But have you thought maybe villa didn't have microphones on in the saints fans area , so the noise we generated would be some what muted . At the end of the day I embarked on my massive journey would liked to have seen three points but . I enjoyed the game and our refreshing style of play . Yes we should learn to be more clinical in our finishing . But remember we still have to beat their defence . And if you had not realised villa are not exactly safe from relegation yet

Glad you love irony Duncan . It wasn't meant to be a moan simply pointing out the facts re the negative stuff that gets posted about the team and the players all the time . I'm hoping to get to one more home game before the end of e season z. Travelling by train from Aberdeen is picturesque but very tiring . God I gave got the return journey to look forward to and then a flight home to Orkney . At least I haven't got a 7 hour ferry trip to contemplate as well .
