I’m actually feeling quite positive about all this to be honest (normally an optimist anyway). I get the impression Ralph is having quite a say in the process and brining in the type of players he actually wants/needs to fit his system. Pay those who make profitable long term decisions, keep those below them employed and have big responsibilities more money, that’s fair. Pay everyone on a much more equal scale across the board, not really. Having said this, I have started to see (Pre 2020) companies in my field start to do some interesting things, such as unlimited time off, no questions asked. The directors still ended up telling employees to go home and take time off because they realised that the employees had a mind set of not wanting to take the p*ss and be seen to pull their weight.

On the subject of swinging, I learned something the other day from a bloke that works opposite me. He said that 20 years ago, when he moved into the village where we work, that it had a vibrant swinging scene that happened on a regular basis. Apparently, the “in the know” sign for anyone open for a bit of keys in the pot was that you had Pampas grass growing in your front garden. Ive no idea if this is still the case now, and to be honest, the crusties that live here now would make for a challenging 5 knuckle shuffle. So if you’re partial to a bit of Pampas grass, we know your secret...

I’m probably going to regret posting this but here goes... You need to look past covid (and before I get jumped on I’m in no way a denier, it’s just massively over played), and look towards the world economic forum and the great reset (build back better) if you really want to understand what’s going on. For example, one of their top goals is to remove America as the world’s superpower and have a more “social” society. And before some of you start jumping up and down, the world economic forum is where all of our future gets decided and I’m just an observer who doesn’t believe their motives are good.
