It is 50 years since we were in the third division - this is how far we have fallen. It is a disaster and yet some people make light of it.

The league table does not lie at this stage of the season. We have been so very poor - just look at the number of goals we have conceded. There has been so much self delusion going on for months - and it is continuing with all sorts of very wishful thinking. I never ever thoguht it would come to this. What a total disaster Lowe and co have been.

They really are poor

It has all gone pear-shaped - Warwicks 580 odd for 6 - eek. I think our bowling looks a bit weak.

That our great club, with its long history, has been reduced to this by a bunch of fourth-rate directors, managers and players.

Well he's certainly not delivering the goods for us.

I think the basic problem here is that Saints have to win two games in a row!

Well I have given up. It's all symbolic of our struggle against reality, Reg.

More likely it will be a damp squib of a day - in fact the whole season has been a damp squib for Saints. Let's face it we're down and completely fckued.

Well we are dreadful and very poorly motivated. I am sorry to say it won't necessarily be that easy to get promoted form the thir division - there is no guarantee we will bounce back as Leicester have.

Simply not good enough

Sorry everyone but i do really think we're going down this year. What a fall in five years - and yet there are those ex-Saints playing elsewhere. What a bloody disaster.

They were laughable really - going 2 goals down in the first five minutes is not a good idea.

I think the story of the franking machine sums it up - the current set up seems devoid of urgency, initiative, energy or general gumption. This is a great idea so let's give it a go.

Disappointing - our defence have really let us down this season - just look at the goals conceded.

I applaud the attempts to save our saints and would certainly find some funds myself but i would not go to barclays or any of the other crooked banks.

This is a body blow - increases chances of relegation quite a lot alas.

It is not looking good. I would say it is 60% likely that we will go down but we might just salvage things on the last day. I think we need 50 points to be safe -3 wins and a draw - can anyone see how we get them?

We just don't seem to be able to win, alas. We're poor but I still think we will avoid the drop - on the last day of the season at 4.45 pm.
