The Telegraph is reporting that Saints will fine MS unless he plays for us:

I see that he is starting today and playing as centre back. Good enough for Arsenal in that position - but not for Saints! I was saying last season that I thought he could be converted to be a CB but the great men running our club clearly did not agree.
I think that out of all the players we lost this summer, Chambers is the one we should regret the most. What a huge error of judgement.
I can't understand why Cork hasn't signed a new contract - maybe he has been offered one and has turned it down? Maybe he wants to do a Lallana/Shaw? I personally think eh was very good for us last year.
I think this is outrageous - as was the whole Lovren business. Clubs are generally so weak. If we don't handle this well, and end up letting him go as a result of this petulance, then the board will well and truly have lost our respect.

I don't think we should pursue Forster any longer anyway because the price that Celtic are holding out for is unreasonable - better to go for Marshall or someone else.
