  1. We should get chris tarrant on here to host it.
  2. Stop biting, lads. It only encourages them.
  3. My thoughts exactly, and I don't suppose Koeman would be unhappy to think that
  4. What always amused me about the moyes sacking was thinking back to fergies farewell address to the old trafford "faithful". He reminded them that he had a poor first season, and told them that their job now was to get behind the new manager come what may. Cue a wave of heartfelt applause from the crowd.... How long was it before the plastics turned against moyes, who was promptly sacked? Sums up the club for me,if we've got van gaal the boot I couldn't care less. He must have known what he was in for, and they really are a poor team under him given the massive investment.
  5. ....and don't marry an Italian bird. She cooks like a dream, but I put on 2 stone within a year of meeting her. To be fair, when I met her I was badly underweight and her mother decided to fatten me up. Every time I walked into their house there was a pot of something delicious on the stove, good times
  6. On reflection WG, you're right. It would also prevent the players from being such w*nkers.
  7. No, an execution.
  8. When we were last seasons leicester they were all for us, iirc.
  9. I know. I was pointing out that there's no reason to vilify the bbc for saying exactly that, it's what happened and they reported fairly on motd.
  10. It's not just the bbc. I bet there won't be many newspaper or online headlines this morning about how great Saints were, they'll all be about lvg and a poor utd performance. I guess a few of them might highlight charlie austins debut goal, if we're lucky.
  11. As I came over my sister in laws naked breasts I thought to myself "this is really going to cost me." And it did. Fifty quid to the morgue attendant.
  12. Seems to me to be like shane long, in that he actually has a reason to want to be located here other than money. Not that I imagine he'll be going short on that.
  13. His ex would be anything but bitter. They'd be over the moon to be shot of him, not sick as a parrot.
  14. Is that a euphemism?
  15. Let's hope so
  16. I didn't get to touch the sandwich, or even to open the bag of crisps I'd got to go with it. Barely had time to sip my cider. And naturally, being of english stock, the sarnie was cheese and pickle on crusty white bread.
  17. Drove past there today and they seemed to be open again. Hopefully it wasn't too serious. Might drop in for lunch tomorrow, I'm stuck at Lymington every afternoon this week.
  18. Keep me posted. We've been there a few times since they took over, always very impressed.
  19. Possibly.
  20. Anyone else see the place today? I nipped in for a pint and a sandwich on my way to Walhampton, as soon as the food arrived the fire alarms went off and the power cut out. The staff got all the punters out into the car park, ten minutes later a fire engine screamed up and started reeling out the hoses. I had to get on to work by then but noticed on the way home just after 5:30 the pub was still closed, anybody know what happened?
  21. What, thrown in at the deep end and beaten to a froth?
  22. Exactly what I've been thinking. I bet big ron will have the team right up for this one.
  23. Why would anybody want to?
