I was really starting to feel that SFC was like the ugly one still sat on the edge of the dancefloor when the slow dances kicked in at the end of the evening....now I feel like we're beating them off with a stick.

I've an abundance of carrots now and have started freezing them......is there anything wrong with this?

A productive day today. Picked some peas, pulled up some carrots and also dug up some Charlotte potatoes. Tell a lie, I've grown the potatoes in grow bags this year, so didn't technically 'dig them up'. Also pulled up some beetroot, boiled and then pickled.

Gotta agree with you there mate, sweetcorn is alot of effort, it's worth it though I reckon, you can't beat it freshly picked and boiled or even bbq'd with the leaves on. Never done marrows......sounds lovely with kidney beans though :smt045

Tomatoes have been a bit of a foe to me over the last couple of years...they just haven't been playing the game, as in growing properly.....I've obviously been doing something wrong :cool: Bumper crop of carrots this year though :roll:
