Has anyone heard anything about us failing to pay a six figure transfer payment to Notts County for McGoldrick? Apparently their chairman mentioned it in their programme notes or something like that

I think the £11m gets distributed between the rest of the clubs in this division (minus the clubs that will have parachute payments next season)

Think you will find that it was won 3, drew 7 and lost 4. He didn't even pick the team for one of those losses so it is a little bit harsh to include that, still that changes it to 1.14 ppg..

I really didn't think I would like the Wire when I first heard about it, but I gave it a try earlier this year and ended up watching all 5 series in little more than a month. I've also just finished watching a mini-series called Generation Kill by the people who made the wire, which I found to be pretty good, it's about the first few weeks of the Iraq war. Bit of a shame it was only 7 episodes though. I seem to be watching more US shows than British ones recently what with those two plus Dexter, Heroes, Prison Break, 24 etc...

Read the other day that Plymouth made a loss of £1.8million despite selling most of their best players last season.
