  1. The posts before it about the media being at SMS
  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8085850.stm was on there somewhere
  3. "There is no television at the South East regional count at St Mary's stadium in Southampton, and Conservative David Willetts has "gone mad" at organisers, the BBC's Mandy Baker says. Our correspondent says there was one TV in reception, but the security guard had to switch it off because there were too many people crowded round it and it was causing a blockage in the reception area. Mr Willetts was heard to say: "My party will never use this venue again" - yet another blow for Southampton Football Club, the owner of St Mary's, which has faced financial difficulties." oops.
  4. Has anyone heard anything about us failing to pay a six figure transfer payment to Notts County for McGoldrick? Apparently their chairman mentioned it in their programme notes or something like that
  5. I think the £11m gets distributed between the rest of the clubs in this division (minus the clubs that will have parachute payments next season)
  6. Pearson 1.14 Jan 0.93
  7. Think he said at one of the fans forums in the summer that he didn't think dutch players were suited to this league.
  8. Think you will find that it was won 3, drew 7 and lost 4. He didn't even pick the team for one of those losses so it is a little bit harsh to include that, still that changes it to 1.14 ppg..
  9. I may be wrong but don't we lease the training ground?

    Forum slow-down

    Can't say I noticed a slowdown
  11. 1 goal for every 9 hours of football he has played this season, fantastic.
  12. Just what we need.
  13. I really didn't think I would like the Wire when I first heard about it, but I gave it a try earlier this year and ended up watching all 5 series in little more than a month. I've also just finished watching a mini-series called Generation Kill by the people who made the wire, which I found to be pretty good, it's about the first few weeks of the Iraq war. Bit of a shame it was only 7 episodes though. I seem to be watching more US shows than British ones recently what with those two plus Dexter, Heroes, Prison Break, 24 etc...
  14. Read the other day that Plymouth made a loss of £1.8million despite selling most of their best players last season.
