  1. 16 corners.... We should have played Pearce.
  2. Maybe we should bring Pearce on, their goallie is crap on crosses and we are getting loads of corners.
  3. Robertson coming off for Paterson in a second.
  4. The other one is Noone for Fallon.
  5. JP not happy with Robertson and DMG. They are not showing enough composure on the ball. Gasmi and Paterson still warming up. Double subsitution for Plymouth, Gallacher for Mackie and another one.
  6. We played well, got down the flanks but cut inside too many times (I guess that's what happens when you don't have real wingers). If we continue like this chances are that we will end up winning this match. Don't get restless, we have keep playing like we know how to.
  7. Schneiderlin shot from distance put out for a corner by Larieu (or something like that). The following corner Robertson just heads over.
  8. Wrong topic...
  9. Saints playing well according to the Saint. Especially Surman and BWP seem to be up for it today.
  10. Sains commentary thinks we're looking good just not finding the end product. BWP making loads of runs (and only one offside!) and but so far no luck.
  11. I'd do some text commentary but I have to finish a paper as well. If anything big happens I'll let you know.
  12. We certainly did! COYR!!!!! BWP seems to be on fire!
  13. A bit harsh on Pearce he isn't playing. He's been the best defender every match he's played. That said, the team that beat Reading deserve to get another shot.
  14. Indeed, my guess its a fan that decided not to attend matches either.
  15. But was he already that good when he played for Saints? He had the potential but he wasn't the top-class England striker yet. For me Bridge, although he has improved a bit, was already topclass when he was at Saints. In fact, the only year that I think he was really preforming better then when he was at Saints was his first season at Chelsea. I don't think he's been that good since (mainly due to him not playing a lot and having a few injuries).
  16. Yes, but he did have the problem that he got injured and when he got back into the team I think HR made him play as a left midfielder a few times. After relegation he left for Anderlecht where he still plays. I'm not sure it was a bad buy in the sense that he was a bad player. He was just injured for more then half of the season and then played out of position. After relegation he became to exspensive or he wanted to stay in a premier league because he wanted to stay in the national team so he left. In the end it was bad business but he wasn't a bad player.
  17. Ok, bloody google giving me the wrong pictures when I type in cupcakes.
  18. You're early! Or does the match start early??
  19. COYR!!!! Lets get back to back wins!!!! Btw, what's the food of the day? I think we should go for cupcakes.
  20. I'd say this is pretty similar to that Hunt guy kicking Cech in the face. They didn't take any action against him either since he already got a yellow. Thatcher got a red so they could actually do something about it. I'm not saying it is right but I don't think it is because it is the CCC that they're not doing anything. Its just this strange rule you can't appeal against yellows (form FA or player side) that is absolutely ridiculous.
  21. First one, very old. Second one. ROFL.
  22. I'm all for it. Is there a more comprehensive explenation of the plan somewhere?
  23. I have to confess I do not know a whole lot about several of the players listed and thus I voted Bridge. I am definately nopt going to vote in the poll for every position I just haven't seen enough players that really stood out in some of the positions but for me Bridge deserves his place for several reasons. Firstly the amount of games he played after each other (didn't he break the record for an outfield player in the PL at some point?). Secondly you also have to look at the caps he won while at Saints, that to me already suggests he was a topquality PL player in an era where the PL was already full of foreign players. Lastly, he played in a brilliant Saints team with a very good defensive record. After he left (and Killer ****ed up his knee) that suddenly went. That tells you something as well.
  24. He's also had spells at Barnsley and Blackpool I think. From his time in the Netherlands I remember him as a decent player with the odd spell of absolute brilliance. In a Champions League match between Ajax and Olympiakos I remember him scoring with a delightful chip from the edge of the area. Just a shame I can't find the footage on youtube.
  25. Past record shows that Lowe had some success before the big failure and the subsequent failure of Wilde.
