  1. Are you admitting you're a kettle? Anyway, good to see that Jan is trying to improve the clubs relationship with the fans which has been mixed to say the least. I think he recognizes that if we want to turn around the home-form we need to get everybit of support from the crowd we they can get. This doesn't make him a brilliant manager by any means but if it helps in getting more support during matches it will influence our results.
  2. Away from home so the chances of a win are significantly bigger then with a home match. We really need to not lose this match, a win of course would be better but a point would at least keep Charlton 4 points behind us.
  3. The Anderlecht goalkeeper broke his ankle yesterday in the match against Dender in the Belgian league. When he was carried of the pitch one of the medics slipped Zitka fell again and lost several teeth. Ouch! A rather poor video of the incident:
  4. He's too young (14/15-ish I think) to be considered a target for us. I don't think he'll leave the Manu academy for us either unless he's kicked out.
  5. Isn't that just a trick to "motivate" you more?
  6. Hihihihahaha!!!
  7. So can we conclude that Adams is a better manager then 'Arry?
  8. They're exactely the team they used to be which is sort of the problem. They're getting too old, even with that Milan lab.
  9. Make that per capita and all the hightaxed nordic countries score higher. Low taxes go a long way in helping the economy but they are not everything.
  10. Funny how you should mention pensions, the Belgian ones are (or ar least were, the literature I have is a few years old) the second best in the world.
  11. Fair enough but you do realize that the same reason that those pensioners cannot pay the heating next week is the low tax rate Baj just mentioned. Britian has a high degree of everyone takes care of themselves attitude and that is the result. If you want better services and public sector you sort of have to go scandinavian.
  12. With Saints in about just as bad a position as the British banks I'm guessing this gift is going straight to Saints and not to the customer/supporter.
  13. This guy is a bit yellow&red as well.
  14. I'm not sure the country is "full", there's a country that is a lot fuller right next to you but the UK does have some real problems. That said, several other countries with slightly inflexible economies in Europe have similar problems (just look at the amount of people fired in Sweden over the last month). Your comment about the equipment for the military is also something that happens everywhere in Europe. The Dutch are sending their army out on missions more and more but in the meantime they don't invest in equipment for the people actually their which has led to many of them buying their own equiment which gives them better protection.
  15. No Diadora or Lotto?
  16. Didn't he score one against pompey? (although I believe he scored an own goal in the same match)
  17. I'm thinking they didn't like the way he improvised by using two cards. Just shows that eventhough some Germans do have a sense of humour the German FA are about as flexible as the English one.
  18. This is why I tried (my internet browser was giving me a hard time and I gave up) to suggest bringing on Pearce as a sort of attacking sub. You do have to wonder who you would have taken off (maybe Schneiderlin and moving Cork to midfield?). With the amount of corners we had we really needed a bit more presence. I don't think it is a lack of training per sé but more the average size of our squad.
  19. We have to CB's in on loan so I'm not sure that is totally fair. With Pearce, Perry, Lancashire and Cork I don't think we're short in that area.
  20. Stop trying to change the subject ffs! The German FA is probably going to suspend that ref btw.

  22. What did Keane shout to Haaland? Maybe that would be "appropriate" in this case as well?
  23. It stood (the commentator said so), the last shot is Ramelow and Lucio laughing about it after the match.
  24. According to AS he is. Banco de Santander is going to sponsor Ferrari from 2010 and theiur CEO claims that Ferrari promised him Alonso from then on.
