I don't think a merger is very likely, they both need investment and since al their profits in previous years have been sucke up by the US neither of them actually have any cash for investments. I don't think either of them would mind VW Group tbh.

He will probably get a better deal as a free agent so he has something to gain by staying until June at least assuming he would want to leave at some point. Besides that I don't believe for one second he would be benched because of his salary, the backup just isn't good enough for that (assuming the first choice is Bart, I don't know Forecasts qualities well enough to make such a judgement). To conclude, unless a PL club offers silly money to Davis he will still be playing here on the first of February.

Ultimately it is actually up to him. If he doesn't sign a contract somewhere else then there is nothing SFC can do about that.

We play better away from home against teams that don't sit in front of their box all match. In my opinion we're more likely to get a win against Burnley then against Wednesday, not because Burnley are a worse team (although their match against Wednesday would suggest that ) but because their style at home is better for us.

We'll win at Burnley and lose against Wednesday.

The only conclusion we can draw from this thread is that BTF has been sold short in her relationship.
