  1. Time for some serious bumpage I've flown back this morning and Cathay Pacific are the best carrier I've flown with so far, but Singapore weren't too shabby and their facilities may well have improved in the 12 years since I last flew with them. We were able to do this and it makes for much shorter queuing times at the airport. Additionally, given it's going to be the first impression of England many people will get, Heathrow terminal 3 is an absolute f***ing embarrassment.

  3. Mandarin (the language, not the citrus fruit) Clementine (the Mark Owen song, not the citrus fruit) Satsuma (the citrus fruit, how many different names does a small orange need?) People who try to explain how aeroplanes work without mentioning the Bernoulli Effect

  6. Possibly. I only took about 100 pics because it got too bloody cold and not many more are good enough to show IMHO. I'll give them another pass though.
  7. No, you were crap. Lens seems ok though.
  8. I may pop along as I bought a new lens yesterday and want to see if it's any good for footy. Depends, because the girlfriend's Mum is down to visit and I'm not sure what's planned.
  9. With only two, it is only a coincidence, but if other toll users start getting the letters it'll be a pattern worth taking to the police.
  10. Anybody can pay the DVLA a few quid and get the address of the registered owner based on a vehicle's plate. All they have to do is say they want the details because it was involved in a hit & run, parked on private land or anything like that. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/AdviceOnKeepingYourVehicle/DG_4022066 Also on that link is what to do if you think your vehicle's details have been obtained unlawfully. It may be worth letting your mates know and requesting the DVLA investigate.
  11. Got back together after a month because neither of us were getting any but it didn't feel right and we ended up as fk-buddies for a couple of months.
  12. Flickr groups can be a good resource for DIY conversions or try somewhere like Talk Photography.
  13. Don't you choose between .177 and .22 based on whether you're target is covered in feathers or fur respectively?

  19. I updated my Facebook status from my Blackberry whilst stood in the store watching it. One of my Facebook friends' husband is a journalist and I spoke to him the next day.
  20. The story's gone international, but I really can't imagine there are that many Indians in Thailand that know where Bursledon is. This will be a bigger story than Jade Goody before long!
  21. Only for the Kleenex.
