Seems a very biased post to me . Both clubs tried to gain an unfair advantage by buying and paying players without the neccessary funds to meet the costs. In both cases it was the overpaid executives who caused the problems leaving us fans to pick up the pieces and I am pleased that some Pompey fans I know had a good day yesterday as they have been telling me for some time that thier club was on the way to ruin.

Unfortunately somebody has to be the least effective signing but as I have only seen him a couple of times I can not properly judge
-
I thought they lost the JPT N Final on Penalties

It is unusual to sack a manager if the team is only say sixth at Christmas they are usually sacked if results are disappointing and usually it is obvious to Fans when a manager should go. .
-
Like us in 2003 I suppose We did not play well that day but had a good day out but I hated it wehen we lost in 1963 and again in the 80s and in the recent playoffs

Yes I totally agree not cheats this season but possibly before
-
Possibly a lot of teams are in the same position including our selves at sometime or other. But I dont think there are any FA Cup rules to cover this situation so I cannot see that Pompey are cheating. However it is interesting that last week that the Leyton Orient Chairman was calling us cheats and not many agreed with him But I do agree that clubs that do go into administration should be docked points but it is totally unfair on the fans. I think both Saints and Pompey fans have been seriously let down by the people running them - Pompey a lot more than ourselves which I think was purely down to incompetance but not so sure with Pompey where greed was possibly the motice

In 1973 if Mick Channon had not missed a penalty on Boxing Day v Arsenal we would I think been 4th in Div but in May 1974 we were relegated
-
CM I think is more important but yes RB too
-
We now have to get to Wembley for the play offs Cant have Pompey getting there more times than us this season
-
And what about 1976 Man U thought they only had to turn up to win
-
Seems that Strachan knows when to leave a sinking ship
-
No there is always a chance Spurs could beat Chelsea
-
Pompey Score would like to see them dump old Harry out of the Cup
-
Stuart Gray
-
Yes that however would make the situation worse as the smaller clubs would lose out
-
It may have been seven but Swindon and Huddersfield had games in hand
-
I think he is OK but not sure the Country wants a Prime Minister called Cleggy
-
No I cannot but I dont sea why if Saints turned up at Man U they should not get half of the match receipts The rich are only going to get richer if it had happened in the Premier League we would probably still been there

Well that is a surprise as he appears to have little real understanding of Economics as if had been in Government in 2008 when the Credit Crunch was at its height his interventions would have led the country to probable ruin. Just let Alistair and Gordon continue their good work because I have little confidence in Boy George and David leading us to prosperity. They maybe fairly good at playing politics but their strategy seems to be saying anything which could be popular with the electorate with little real substance behind it

I sell books specialising in Football I have for Sale at £5 plus Postage PM me if Interested God is Brazilian: Charles Miller, the Man Who Brought Football To Brazil [illustrated] (Hardcover) by Josh Lacey In 1894, Charles Miller arrived in Brazil with a pair of boots, a book of rules and a football. When he reached Sao Paulo, he was shocked to discover that no-one knew how to play. So he marked out a pitch, gathered twenty young men, and divided them into two teams...Today, Brazil are the greatest exponents of the beautiful game, and Charles Miller has been all but forgotten. This book resurrects his story and is a gripping narrative of one man's love of football and the clash between two very different cultures: the foxtrot versus the samba, the stiff upper lip versus swinging hips, Britain versus Brazil. Josh Lacey uncovers the history of the British in Brazil while narrating the profoundly moving story of a man who gave a country its greatest gift, but lost everything his heart, his soul and even his wife to that seductive country.

I think Gordon Brown knows more about the economy than you but I do agree that the Public Sector does help the Private Sector to grow by taking goods and services from the Private Sector. Cutting Public Spending to the tune of £6 billion will affect the Private Sector. I dont really understand what damage he has done compared with the Tories in the past who not only decimated manufacturing industry in the 1980s but led us to Black Wednesday Thurday and Friday in 1992 when interest rates were at 15 % The Recession was caused by greedy bankers and their large bonuses perhaps the whole banking system should be nationlised
