  1. Slagging off probably means saying something which is not totally complimentary to SFC its officials and players such as the team did not do well and Adam L sometimes misses easy chances.
  2. And retain the JPT as well
  3. Who really knows their motives . Just a lot of spin at the beggining to please the fan base nothing really since. New Academy Building and an apparent move to AC Milan which did not happen because SFC is NC's baby.
  4. Are you sure as there are plenty of people who say not. I dont really no much about Cortese yet
  5. Dont know I think some people thought so but never been confirmed I think That was why I asked the question
  6. Dont think AC Milan would be interested. What makes you think Cortese has any contacts with Italian Football Clubs as he worked in a Private Swiss Bank
  7. So you dont rate him but you do rate Lambert thats OK but as Fuller is playing in the Premiership and Lambert is not we will have to disagree. So is Lambert better than Beattie?
  8. Perhaps the Journalist is a Tory as they tend to miss out decimal points to give the completely wrong slant on things;)
  9. I know you are not a happy clapper but you are beginning to sound like one you dont have to attend to have opinions I watch the Saints once a month but I post most of the time
  10. Seems rather strange but some these Refs must in the top 100 in the country.
  11. I dont really see what is wrong with being in League 1 - easy to get a ticket not many big crowds trips to Wembley That said I would expect us to be challenging for Promotion next season but Patience is the key
  12. But I think the ref lost his way in this match seems to be the case
  13. Perhaps you and NC have the wrong outlook
  14. It really is strange that in most cases Penalties given against Saints are always wrong and Penalties given for Saints are always right. Plus loads of Penalties are missed for Saints but never for the opposition:confused:
  15. I think a happy clapper is someone who continually suggests that promotion is possible this season and then complains when others with possibly more realistic ideas disagree. I think a happy clapper is someone who continually complains when others suggests that the team is not performing well. I think a happy clapper is someone who thinks automatic promotion next season is a foregone conclusion. Personally I am happy the club is doing well This season has been one of the best in the last twenty years and I have watched more games than usual and hope for a better one next
  16. Just because he has scored loads of goals in League 1 does not make him a Premiership Striker There are loads of examples of CCC strikers like Nugent and Ebanks-Blake from Wolves last season who are not up to the Premiership
  17. Not sure about Lambert his lack of pace concerns me in the Premiership dont forget Pompey did not have a recognised CB marking him
  18. Perhaps Fuller is a better player than you think. Not sure about Lambert his lack of pace concerns me I did not think Crouch was a very good player when he joined us but how wrong I was
  19. Although NickG is a little happy clappy I agree with him the outlook does look positive . A great deal better than at the end of August 2009
  20. Very good post perhaps NC should leave a couple of million for new players and bugger off for six or seven months and let the coaches and manager produce a team. He can then return and judge on whether they are doing a good job
  21. It has this season I think not in previous ones I think
  22. Terry Paine was the best all round No 7 I have ever seen in a Saints shirt. He now has a World Cup Winners medal too
  23. I am not a "In AP we Trust" fan but with the type of player we are buying I cannot see why we should not be in the mix next season for promotion with or without Pardew our results over the last twenty five or so League games is pretty good. However if we continue to miss chances my optimism may fade
  24. I think we took our chances at Norwich but not at Wycombe Brentford and Tranmere and at home against Portsmouth
